Love to see people getting nostalgic of the game. I started PvP about a year ago and i love to see how varied and deep it Can get. I Hope to make more content for the game to get more attention ❤️ Thanks for the feedback

Night is a very good player too. Terra can struggle a lot against rushdown characters. And he manage to pull off a way to constantly keep you out from his close range

@@rocherbrockas3032 i have 0 problems with the player, i just don't like Terra's kit, same goes to Kuja's.

i fixed it later on, unfortunately my mic had this weird settings on so it got recorded in the matches

It's cause NT just wasn't the same as the older ones. Became more of a arcade thing but wanna see the story? Do very annoying farming for it. Want more characters? Gotta pay for them. Plus not much was going for it when it first released

@@vegeta2998 NT balanced the options you have during the fight so it wouldn't become a dodgefest. And guess what you gotta do in duodecim to see the story? fight manikins, again, and again, and again, until you get to the boss and better have enough stats to do it or you know, just dodge spam to win. They did what they could to adapt the arcade game story-wise and turns out you will ""grind"" less fights than in duodecim, which is not grinding if you enjoy the gameplay, so thats a really dumb complain unless you apply the same logic to duodecim. Your point about paying to have more characters is confusing. I assume you didn't know aerith is in duodecim as paid dlc, plus outfits, tho I will grant you duodecim doesn't have as many dlcs as NT, but all you gotta do is not buy anyone if you don't want em and you will still be able to use the rotation characters, no one is grabbing at your wallet. And idk about not much going on with it even back then because as it turns out japan still plays the crap out of this game. I love duodecim just as much as the next guy but the hate on NT as it is now is completely hypocritical.

​@@vegeta2998 apply the same logic to duodecim then, you grind manikin battles over and over to get to the story, which wouldn't be grind if you enjoyed the gameplay, and dont buy the dlc if you dont want to, same goes for aerith in duo and costumes, but duo just wont get that scrutiny

in my opinion NT and 012 are 2 very different games not at all focused on the same gamefeel in battle. 012 dodge is staple it does a lot of things so you need to abuse it in fights, it can allow you to act early on pretty much every action you have. however most good attacks in a competitive setup are attacks that allow you to win on dodge mixups. guards are mostly reads or done on reaction. I m no NT expert but NT staple combat option seems to be guard, as they are many more attacks coming for every part of the screen. Dodge on NT is way more commital as it is on 012 and dashes are a bit slower but balanced again by the fact there are 6 players in the arena. Competitive NT is still played to this day and is regardless very interesting too. both games are still great even if they have their flaws in my opinion

I believe that both game styles are different 012 is more fast-paced and aerial, so the dodge is more often used, while NT feels more grounded and technical, so instead of dodge, it is more defense focused.

There is a glitch in the first version of the game where you can make yourself invulnerable as long as you dont switch weapon. I m abusing this in every boqsfight

Unfortunately you can t, most of the glitches are only doable in the pc 1.0.6 version of the game

Any% (like this run) is performed on ver 1.0.6, quite a few glitches don't work, or don't work as well in 4.0

Eddie plays pretty much anything, muggs is most known for his jecht but lightning is a solid character on the tier list. You can play pretty much anyone in the game as long as you can manage to find good builds and openings

We are a small yet active community, i realize there s a mack of resource and video content for this game. So i ll try to release more videos and tutorial about it in the near future

i ll try to make an up to date tutorial on how to play the game with online on PC

Parry is allowed, it s just a bit risky cause if missed you grant 100% crit chance if being hit during the recovery
