Karnataka has the most varied(i believe) distinct cultures(language and food) within one state.. Includes ..South canara Tuluvas are one of the unique ones..speaking Tulu ,having daivas as family deities and a history predating vedic period .. Other groups include Coorgies Konkanis Byaris Siddis etc
