After 90 Days - create tropical garden landscape with koi pond in the garden
Creating a tropical forest garden with a serene koi pond as its centerpiece can bring a lush, natural atmosphere to any outdoor space. This type of garden features a rich variety of **Platycerium** (staghorn ferns) and **Philodendron**, both of which thrive in the humid, shaded environment typical of tropical forests.
The **Platycerium** ferns, with their dramatic antler-shaped fronds, can be mounted on trees or hung from vertical structures, creating a unique focal point. The ferns will add texture and depth to the garden with their cascading green leaves, blending harmoniously with the broader leaves of the **Philodendrons**. These climbing plants can be trained to grow up trellises, tree trunks, or along walls, adding a sense of height and wildness to the space.
In the center of the garden, a **koi pond** provides a calming water feature. The pond, filled with vibrant koi fish, reflects the natural surroundings while bringing movement and life to the garden. Around the pond, lush plantings of ferns, philodendrons, and other tropical flora will help create a feeling of immersion in nature, while stones or wooden walkways can offer paths for exploring different areas of the garden.
