Are any of the homes in Windsong Ranch zoned for Walnut Grove High School?
I believe the WS ranch community is primarily Panther Creek. Would you like us to send you a list of available homes in the Walnut Grove HS area?
@@LiveInTexasthank you very much! We are trying to decide between Allen ISD, Prosper ISD, and McKinney ISD for our family :)
@@4TeamG they’re all great areas! Usually my clients are seeking Prosper/allen before McKinney. Do yall reside in Texas already or are yall coming in soon to explore? We’d be glad to help guide you to the right home!
@@LiveInTexasTHANK YOU!! I just sent yall an email.
Handsome man 😅❤
Out of these two, Dallas and San Antonio, which one is more prone to flooding???
Great question! Both areas get about the same rainfall each year, with Dallas being slightly more rainy. As Dallas natives, we know the areas a bit more and can attest that flooding is a problem but not one that is known to be catastrophic. Usually it affects traffic and roadways more than anything and can cause slowdowns on some roads especially in the springtime. This May has already been one of the rainiest by far. San Antonio is has more hilly terrain and elevation. This can be a cause for more flooding that can certainly be more risky to homeowners. We always advise doing more research on the specific neighborhoods you’re interested in and understanding the area’s flood risk. You can use this website to learn more: msc.fema.gov/portal/home
@@LiveInTexas Ok thank you!!!, so, due to its elevation, San Antonio has more areas that can avoid floodings right???, is it the same in Austin??
Because of the elevation changes, it can actually be more prone to flooding than Dallas in some areas. It really depends on the parts that you are looking into. Some areas in San Antonio can be affected by flash flooding because of the terrain. Austin is a whole other beast, but I’d say more similar to San Antonio in that the terrain and bodies of water that can cause flash flooding in some areas that can get dangerous. Keep in mind though that it’s dependent on neighborhood. If you’re close to big bodies of water than can overflow in heavy rain, then it may be more of a concern versus neighborhoods built outside of those potential flood zones.
@@LiveInTexasThank you!, It’ll be AWESOME if you do a video about what neighborhoods in those 3 cities are prone to flooding and which ones aren’t. Like Lake Highlands in Dallas or North Dallas, etc. I just subscribed 😊
Dallas got expensive and worse now. Indians are every where
Only 50 from Mabank to Dallas, less than that from Kemp
Malachi?
I live here. As in at the apartments here at Legacy West. Can’t say enough great things about the area. Just wish it was more highlighted on the local events they have each month. Rather than the good court lol.
Of course and our team would be glad to show you exactly how to do that!
Would i be able to move over there and use my first time home buyer over there
Good presentation/video! Vistors will know where to go from this vedio!
I have a question about Heath Yacht & Golf Club....do you have an e-mail?

Great video!
Which area have views to lake and harbor for $450,000? Please give me the name of this area. I ' m in process of moving to Rw and it's my price range.
Hi Audrey! Glad to fill you in on all the best neighborhoods in Rockwall for lake views and close commute to the harbor, along with all parts of the lake. Have you tried scheduling a call on our website yet?
Sad to see what Heath has become. I worked at Brady Boys country store when I was a teenager. Aside from a few housing additions near the lake it was all open farmland, cow pastures, and everyone knew each other. Now its a bunch of mansions for California expats.
What if I’m moving from CA to TX and I will be commuting back and forth since I only go 2 days a week to the office, how is that handled when applying for a mortgage loan?
Your primary residence will be located in Texas, and as long as you send a majority of your time here, there shouldn’t be any problems. You will need Texas financing. We have a great lending team we can connect you with. Schedule a call with our team and we’d be glad to get connected with them!
You say tx gets up to 105 tx big state and varies and southern part can get hot Dallas has gotten up to 110 many times and with higher humidity heat indexes are way higher. A western state has lower humidity so makes temps more bearable

Thanks for the video. Im looking into moving to Las Colinas in September. I hope i can get some apartment showings
Born and raised there, still have land there but I’ll NEVER move back. It used to be so nice now it’s run down & full of drugs
Great video! I live in Tempe and I’m currently visiting Dallas for a couple of weeks. There are some things I like about Dallas during my short visit but it gives me a strong feeling of being in the Bible Belt. No liquor on Sunday’s and no dispensary’s I almost lost my mind lol. Although the Phoenix metro is spread out Dallas seems even more spread out. It takes forever to go anywhere even without traffic.
Thanks for the feedback Isaac! Yea dallas definitely still has that southern foundation still. It’s not all bad lol just gotta stock up on Saturday! 😅 Here for good or just visiting?
Any issues with noise from being on the DFW flight path?
There’s certainly planes that fly over but it’s not usually a loud overhead because most flights come from the North to DFW. Overall I’d say it’s a 2-3 out of 10 on a noise scale. Usually last 5-10 seconds before they’re passing over. Are you familiar with the DFW?
@@LiveInTexas thanks for the report. I’m not familiar with the metroplex. My wife would like to retire to a climate with a lack of snow and I would like to be near a metro area that has easy plane access in and out. Coming from Nebraska ….. getting accustomed to slightly higher housing costs 😯
@@southjersey10 it’s a great place to be. Plenty of land and areas to find affordable housing. Close to the airport will always be a little higher. Glad to talk more in depth. Schedule a zoom call or send us an email and we’re glad to chat more.
I love living in Heath. Not much going on but peace, beautiful homes, and Lake Ray Hubbard. Love it.
It is such a beautiful area! Can’t wait for sapphire bay to be built to add a little more things to do. It’s a great version of the Texas Dream ✨
Highland Village and the vast majority of Flower Mound are in the same school district as Lewisville…
Nice
Nice ! I’m looking to move to Irving TX, But don’t know how to start where. I live in CA I wanna to get an apartment and save for a house.
I lived in Georgetown, Round Rock, Lake Travis in Volente and Austin for over thirty years. That started in 1967 when the Army sent me to Ft, Hood, TX. I married a woman from there and we went back and forth between Indiana and Texas until 1977 when we went back for the next twenty years When my mother needed help 25 years ago in Indiana Iwas single again. I was pretty well fed up with working in a GM dealership for over ten years and came home. My three exes live in Texas my children live in Texas and yes I sometimes miss a lot of things in Texas. I am going to be 76 next week my mother has passed and I talk to my daughter weekly who lives close to Houston. When I lived in those places other than Austin they were small towns but now I could not live there because of the explosion of people and politics. I have not kept in touch with anyone I knew then but I miss it, the food, the weather, the people, the small towns and have thought about going back especially now it is winter. I am expecting a finacial windfall soon that is staggering but I have fiends here now that I rely on when I need some help and have become slightly disabled. Latly I have been looking into moving back to Texas but nowhere around Austin. Here I live 6 miles from the nearest small town between farm fields. I am torn between this place and moving that all depends on that windfall and when or if I get it. Have friends and some relatives in other sates I want to visit so it may be some time before I choose a place.
Any idea how the humidity in Dallas compares to southern Florida? I was in Miami for a week in early June and found the humidity unbearable. Is it as bad as this or is Dallas a little better?
Arizona is more dry than Dallas. Dallas is less humid than FL. Houston would be comparable to what you’re seeing in FL!
I prefer the Phoenix area more overall. Just wish I could bring some of that rain and grass from TX to AZ for the yard 😂
Lol terrain is certainly more brown than green. Both are great cities!
I'm moving to Texas in March 😁 Still deciding on Rockwall or Wylie.
Great review
Appreciate that Denzel!
I do not like this place at all. Good luck
Thanks for the information
Always glad to help! Are you making the move to Texas Mohammd?
Thanks
Great people, great neighborhoods, they changed the mall but it was still fun last time I went, and the theater is really good. They have a drive in which is awesome, and I think a dollar theater might still be there? It was a nice dollar theater too. My 1 critique of the city ... I lived and worked in Lewisville for 16 years. Worst traffic light structure in TX. The former mayor Gene Careey even said at an event once this same thing - I could get from Dallas to Lewisville in 20 minutes. But to get anywhere inside Lewisville took 30 to 45 minutes. The lights might be individually timed correctly, but they're all out of synch with one another as you go down the street. Gridlock never ceases and that's in the side streets. I-35 going through the city was also always ALWAYS gridlocked. I say was, because there was a huge construction project going on when I left in 2016 so the highway running through the city could have improved since then.
Thanks for the great Feedback Adam! I’m sure many people really enjoy the additional insight! Price and location are certainly more favorable here than other north Dallas cities. Traffic can still stink if timed wrong 😅
When you compare cities, you start with nightlife? Seriously? You think that's what people's main concern is?
Hi and thanks for the feedback! We believe everyone is interested in different aspects of a city when moving to a new location. Did you finish the video? Was there something specific you’d like us to touch on!?
thank you for doing this sir 🙏 helps alot
We’re glad you appreciate it Juan! Coming down soon or are you already in Texas?
this place sucks my keys were stolen and i dont live in a poor area
80k an acre??? thats insanity. If you are moving to Tx, dont go anywhere near a city especially Dallas, Houston Austin, Ft Worth...any big city and when you get out in the country you still have easy access to towns and you are looking at 10K an acre or less. Ask about mineral rights
Certianly agree! Big city areas and you’ll pay big city prices. Texas has a lot of more affordable land an hour outside most metros!
Can you tell me if this is a nice/safe Subdivision: Mustang Creek Ph 1a Or shall I keep looking?
This is one of a handful of great communities in Forney! We’re happy to walk you through a couple others if you schedule a call. It’s hard to say without knowing what’s important to you and what you’re looking for but the Rockwall/Forney area is a great place to call home for sure!

I remember when Coppell was primarily ranches and farms. Denton Tap Road was named such because it was a road to Denton, and it was a site for a public well during the severe drought in Texas in the 1950s. The public could drive to the well with wooden barrels in the back of pickup trucks and tap the well for water for household use. As a side note, in the Texas section of Heaven, Hard 8 BBQ will be served!
Ahh how times have changed Lisa! Sounds like you’re a real Texan! Hard 8 BBQ is quite the Texas experience! Should we do a video on it? 😃

Hi Nann, tornadoes usually happen in the late spring but rarely affect the neighborhoods around DFW. It’s very rare that they come through Dallas. Our neighbors to the north in Oklahoma have a much bigger threat. We’d love to help you navigate and answer any other questions. Send us a text message at 214-441-6457 and we can schedule a call to chat more. Our home finding services are free.
So dreamy! Well done, guys!
I hope they aren't turning the good state of Texas Blue. I want it to stay Red.
I want enough to build a good house and have my own shooting range. Maybe put a single wide or two on it for family. Is that possible around the Dallas area or like with in a hour to Dallas.
Of course! Plenty of places out here very similar to that. We’re happy to help (214)441-6457
How many acers do I need to have my own shooting range area.
each county has its own rules on that, you need to contact the county you want to move to, some dont allow any shooting, some 10 acres, some no restrictions so long as your rounds dont cross property lines
Good morning everyone 👋. Great seeing your video. We are looking for something UNDER TWO hundred thousand dollars and the plan is to have our longhorns and glow our food.
