I’m coming next time 😂
Have to be near carlsbad for that!
Absolutely love the content great video and very informative so awesome to see behind-the-scenes. Keep it coming 💪
Thanks for that! Been a long time coming! Should be able to find something to do next time you’re out.
Love this new perspective! Absolutely crazy production quality, you guys killed it with this one
Thanks so much. Have a lot more ideas to execute!
Nice 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks ✌
🔥
You crushed this.
Next time you have 2 open seats take us with you!
That can be arranged!
Loved this perspective. The cinematography POV makes the whole experience better 🙌🏽😮💨
Thanks! Was stoked on this one. Come film one for me!
Such a cool point of view, great work and insight!
Thanks! I put a lot of effort into this one and looking forward to sharing more!
Good stuff!
Thanks! Phenom 100 is cool!
Such an awesome look into the perspective that us pilots don’t usually get to experience sitting up front! Great production quality as well.
Thanks buddy! Excited to see what everyone thinks and dropping more!
@@thecaptaincurt_now you need to own one!
@@SomeAcidCash I agree with that!
🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
No love for SXM?
You need to visit Seychelles...
👏👏👏
How many hrs do you need before getting type rated? And is it cheaper once you get the g5 to get a 550 rating?
Love it! I am going to get my ppl (private pilot’s license) in about 2 years
Awesome! I hope you get it. It’s life changing!
Even better if you work for Taylor Swift
Right? I bet they fly a lot though!
Guy lookin like an UC cop. 👮
You mean looking good haha
@@thecaptaincurt_he's just jealous
Thanks for the forecast! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
No idea. I got out of crypto years ago.
I left comment for supporting channel! Good luck!
I appreciate it!
He forgot to ask, "How much do you spend for fuel from LA to Miami?".
Depends on which airport in LA for a fuel price. But around $13,000.
@@thecaptaincurt_ so expensive!
You do your own investing. Each man for his own.
Seems there's been a few upgrades since the old 69 days.
Yeah!
I see you are using the UFlyMike and Bose QC headphone. I'm considering buy them but have a question. What happens if the QC's battery dies? Do you just lose noise cancelling? Or are you not able to use the headphone at all? Also can you charge and use the headphone at the same time?
I really like them. Yes if it dies, you just lose noise cancelling. But I use them on 8 hours flights often. I have never charged them at the same time, but I have taken them off and charged while I use the speaker. Say I fly 8 hours and use as my headset, but then I land and have an airline home for 5 hours…I’ll charge them in the plane. Such a great purchase!
@@thecaptaincurt_ Thank you for the reply. I use the QC15 plus UFlyMike. The QC15 uses AA batteries so I never had to worry about draining batteries completely in flight but am thinking about upgrading to the QC35, which I already have so I asked. Many pilots recommend the A20 or 30 but for me, QC series are way better. Lighter, less clamping, and cheaper. The only complaint I have is their ear cups degrade and have to replace them every few years.
@@tomdylan1010 oh yeah. I used those in the past as well. The ear cups on all models go bad after a few years in the them. I replace them on my A20 often as well. I like the QC35 better, especially bc they are lighter and I can use them on the airlines watching movies etc.
Nobody's falling for your scam, mate.
Another great video, thanks for sharing Curt!
Thanks for watching!
Single pilot owner operators have the highest fatality rate. Leave it to the pros
Yeah just depends on their experience. I prefer they pay the pros as well. 😂
I plan to own a personal jet once I get to the airlines, would this be the one for solo flying at that stage in my carrier?
I meant career oops. 😅
Great video
Thanks! Kind of a fun one!
That thing is beautiful.
Thanks! I totally agree. I’m glad they call me to fly it. Great company.
Based and favored for commuting in Africa as well: oil: gas executives etc. ✔️
Familiar with that model: around 13 years ago ✔️💯💯💯
Captain Douglas ( last name) Englewood FLorida, based out west? Yes: From Iowa coincidentally: nice guy: Yes: : Two many girls I didn't know about: ✔️💯💯💯
Just sayin' ✔️💯💯🤢🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏
But they usually Do have Two pilots? Of course! 💯💯💯✔️
Yeah just depends on the owner.
I think if you increase FPS on camera it will get rid of PFD/MFD sync problems.
don't park such an expensive aircraft outside. did you say 2.5million? that sounds very inexpensive. are the engines out of time?
You can get them for 1.8 Million!
Nice video. Why did you say”FELCH!” Look the word up. Flight level change.
He talk to mutch the porkin face dont drink to mutch coc cola..
you don’t need an ATP rating? I am currently studying for Instrument and i’m already dreading working as a CFI and I want to log hours without being a CFA
Yea, you wish that was a 400.
This is in fact, a G400. No need to wish.
Looks really nice. Wish the bank account was like that too. 😂
Haha that makes two of us!
I am currently saving money to start my PPL training in 2025 with the goal of eventually getting a CPL to do contract work and ferry flights just like you and so many other aviation TH-camrs I follow. Videos like yours have inspired me to pursue a job like this and get away from a (admittidly well paid, but boring) IT Job. Thank you for inspiring me to do this. Smooth flying to you :)
That jet is not 5 million. Also the variables are no more than 1 Million or a 1.2 million a year maximum. You need to be operating the jet at least 400 hours a year to make it worth it. 😮
A year ago it was. It sold for 4.5M. Now you can pick them up for around 2.5-3.5 depending on the condition and hours.
I can't even fly Comercial 😂
I’ve been there. Keeping working hard and make good financial decisions!
@thecaptaincurt_ Take a look some of my work I do Interior carpentry
Ok but does it have a place to store pretzels 🥨?
It sure does!
I worked at the factory on those airplanes, they're built well. Easy to start even for a private pilot like myself. I don't like the electric brakes because the solenoids are below the floorboards in the cabin and they sound like crap but other than that, pretty good value. But don't expect to go anyplace fast, I'm not even sure if they build them anymore?
Building airplanes is probably one of the coolest jobs in the world! 👍
@@redsquarejay For the most part it was fun, one of the big issues was the work orders were all in Portuguese (It's a Brazilian design) thus we had a devil of a time for the first 25 or 30 aircraft because none of the work orders were in English and all the drawings were in metric. The hardware was all standard so at least all our hand tools could be utilized.
Probablemente a mejorado en la última generación de las 4 (100, 100E, 100EV, 100EX)
Jet or helicopter?
Cool video. Found the n-number at 11:49. The fact that I could care less what your n number is is evident by the fact that I’m not publishing it here. Why even bother trying to hide it?
Because I do not own the airplane. N number is similar to a license plate. It’s just standard procedure for social media and aviation, unless we get permission. Most companies have a social media policy.
FO needs to put his seat belt & straps on properly?
What do you mean by properly? For takeoff and landing, is what the procedure is by the checklist.
His lap belt is up around about the center of his stomach. It should be around your waist. If you decelerated one off the runway hit submarine slide right out of it. Flat belts are supposed to be tied around the waist. It’s just an observation as a former examiner and 25,000 hours and everything those little things I pick up and kind of educate the other pilot.
Are you saying “felch” for flight level change?
That’s correct. Standard slang in Gulfstreams
spent many nights there. Simon and Sieforts great place for dinner if your at the downtown Marriott
I haven’t been there! Thanks for the rec! I will try it next time!
@captaincurt Hello Captain! I graduated last month from flight school with 200 hours TT with ppl, cpl, multi-engine rating and instrument rating. I have been following you for a while and I love your content cause I have always wanted to be a Gulfstream pilot! My question is where do you think I can move to to get a job and to my type rating on a gulf together cause I don’t mind relocating I know I have low time, but I should be hitting 300 by the end of the year! Any help would be greatly appreciated
