    I, too, do not like the tiny grids of the Hobo Weeks. I would LOVE if they would give the option to have a Weeks with at least 4mm lined ruled pages! I love the spacing of the Moleskines! It is 6 mm actually. The paper is smooth, too! I got my Moleskines at Marshall's earlier this year. They sell them at a great discount. I have a Moleskine daily and a Moleskine softcover horizontal weekly(5" x 8.25").

      @stefanyirine 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a good tip, I’ll definitely be on the look out to find a discounted one. I really like the moleskine paper I’ve cut into my rings. I’m glad you relate about the grid size, I think my favorite is 5mm in the A6 stalogy so far!

    Yay!!! Your video made me smile! I'm sorry you have been so overwhelmed. One thing that helps me? I have a Moleskine weekly that I use just to write down things that made me happy, and also things that I accomplished, even the tiniest things. I just freely list. The more, the better! Anytime I feel bad, I can look back over the things that helped me get through the week. I can see that I accomplished more than I gave myself credit for. I also see all the things the Lord bleesed me with.

    I loved your video because I’ve been thinking of moving from a Weeks Mega to a pocket rings, too. Sometimes, a different layout is just what you need to keep you going. You seem so excited about your pocket Filofax, and I think that will translate to joy and productivity. You can always repurpose your Weeks for pages or jotting down life highlights! I would suggest trying out your new Filofax for a month to see how it feels. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as you work through the details of your own system. I enjoyed watching your video.

    Why don’t you use the weeks as a record keeper, as in documenting important things after they happened, but not as a to-do/forward planner? You can leave the weeks at home, maybe in the evenings write down important information that you want to keep a record of (everything from car inspections to new baby in the family etc). It’s easier to keep a bound book for years as a record keeper. Then the rings will do all the actual planning and organizing.

    • @stefanyirine
      @stefanyirine 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Toss the weeks, you know thats what your heart wants! 😂I feel the same about the weeks tho, idk why I just don't vibe with it. I tried with 2 different weeks, but it was anxiety inducing! It has to be the grid and the paper size combo. I think the rings is definitely the best for you, hands down! It's already the cutest thing in the world and brings you so much joy! The weeks was a clever idea, but the rings is more organized and easier to find everything. Also, schedule things are forever changing so you always have the option to rearrange everything and redo your calenders or whatever if you really needed to. I wouldn't worry about wasting the money, you did try to make it work and really filled it in - you could even repurpose the weeks paper in your rings too- just sayin 😅I adore how you set up your rings and filled it with scripture and faith quotes! I'm in love with it! Side note: you have the prettiest disc I've ever seen - brown discs and black cover is just 😘🤌

    YESSSSS!! I screamed with joy when I heard your monthly revelation section!!🙌 You're the only other person that has done this and it's so true! We think nothing happens during the week, but God is always revealing and teaching us something new! I used to think nothing of those little moments. I used to feel like I was always in some season of waiting or something, but doing this in my journals really helped me to see that God was always there with me, working through my life. I feel like these moments are just as important as the memory keeping ones, honestly they are actually way more important!! Just wait until you have years worth of these, it's the most overwhelming feeling looking back at the monthlies and just seeing God's love for you filling up every single day of our lives. He loves us so much, it gets me emotional just remembering. He is always changing our lives and hearing us, from little worries and our happiest days - I have days where i can see Him celebrating with me, those are so cool to see too🤍 I just set up a little tn for a long form version of this to take along with me. I'll definitely keep doing these in my hobonichi monthlies, but sometimes I want to write down the ways I see God when I'm out and about, especially in nature. I used to take the A6 hobonichi with me, but this year I'm using an A5 hobonichi as an all-in-one so it kinda hard for me to take the big daddy a5 with me everywhere😅 Thank you so much for tagging me, this has encouraged me to continue sharing snippets of my faith - I'm def adding this to today's entry🥰

      I used a regular b6 before but it’s not my favorite! I used an A5 Hobonichi cousin and A5 stalogy for a few years (I talk about it in my bullet journaling video) but the sizes are both too big and heavy for my current life. Using smaller notebooks over the past year allows me to bring them around with me and because I that I journal and write things out a lot more. Right now I’m using an A6 and it fits in all my purses and bags.

    I use a Take A Note A5 as both daily journal and todo list, I find having to date and set up spreads really annoying. Perhaps I’m just lazy, but I really do love the layout of the TAN. I use the large day section as my daily journal space, then the small week overview as todos, appointments, weather, etc.

    In all my 6+ years of watching bullet journal, TN, ring, disc, planner set-ups I have never come across a video that EXACTLY explains what I was feeling. Ugh, got through half of the video and I’m gonna have to watch the other half in the morning because this is getting me so motivated! I tried planning a bullet journal back in 2019 but didn’t have much of a use for one + was too worried about not making mistakes. Now I’ve been trying to get back into it, except this time it might turn out ugly and that’s 100% okay for me because it’s completely untouched and unloved otherwise. I love how yours are looking (at least in the parts I got to so far), where you have blank pages mixed in there, spreads that you made but never used, etc. It makes me feel so much less pressure to do it perfectly.

    • @stefanyirine
      @stefanyirine ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m so glad you found inspiration from the video! Let me know what you think about the rest of it!! I’ve learned that too, for bullet journaling to be functional I need to let go of all my expectations and perfectionism and just use what works! Otherwise I might as well be in a printed planner. All the best with your new book!

  • @theredemu

    Why not just get a mega weeks and use the note pages in the back for school to dos. On the weekly you can write the page numbers to the mega note pages that go with the tasks. Or you can just draw out weeklies in the back. Then you'd have the 1 book for the whole year.

    • @stefanyirine
      @stefanyirine ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve thought about that but I don’t love the hobonichi weeks size as a bullet journal, in theory it sounds good but I don’t like it for anything other than the provided layout. We will see how it goes and it is definitely a good option. I like the idea of writing the corresponding note page down and I will definitely try that!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!

    I so agree with ring/disc bound systems! I just never took the time to get comfortable and really add meaning to my pages because they would be removed and lost anyway. In bound books, even if I don't like a page at the moment, it becomes a beautiful memory years later. I'm currently in a B6 Life x Kleid notebook. ☺

      @@stefanyirine I love the paper! It takes fountain pen and Shachihata stamp ink well. I had been looking for a paper that could do both for the longest time! I was concerned about the 2mm grid, but I use 2 per line and it's like 5mm. 😄
