I had a jamaican 45 with two tracks from Jean's rydim ravings album, so when this was broadcast I was ecstatic. I've still got it on vhs somewhere but it's just awesome to see it in higher quality, after all these years. Phenomenal performance and perfectly staged. Thank you for sharing your production then and now. My all time favourite video of Jean Binta Breeze 💚 May she rest in peace 💚

Wonderful to have found this on line. As a member of the original cast, my passion for Wedekind was truly kindled by After Image's inspired opera with Orlando Gough and David Gale. I can't believe it's 30 years ago: it still feels fresh.
