@YEKNOMHAON444 When the NBA stock begins to plummet from advertisers pulling out due to these low ass TV ratings from all the best players using load management as their excuse to skip work days, and these franchises can't sellout stadiums season tickets or luxury box rentals, due to none of the players people spent their hard earned money to watch play a game live, then the NBA begins to be in as bad a shape as it was before they allowed slam dunking & begged Dr Jay to leave the ABA and join them to boost popularity and sell out arena seats to regular season games (not just the playoffs), and all these pro athletes trying to preserve their bodies while NFL players play HURT every week in a high collision violent sport that leaves 1/3rd of all veterans with permanent brain damage (CTE) but NFL stars want to start every game and know their team will suffer if they did load management & they must play, but you say NBA players don't have to be tough if they don't want to and deserve taking 32-38 games off in an 82 game season, and get a GUARANTEED salary with no drug tests mostly, but they can afford to take it easy in the All Star Games and regular season while the NBA under NBA commissioner Stein becomes less and less popular which will eventually make it less marketable therefore less profitable, and then you see NBA players contract sizes begin to shrink under the CBA policy which says if the league is doing good as a whole then all those hoopers registered w/ NBA players union can get paid good too, when all their tanking the regular season and refusing to be entertainers in All Star events catches up the money not being right, then that's when all of y'all will stop defending this bullshit. Michael Jordan wouldnt EVER miss a game, and you would have to fight him to keep him off the court - and yes he felt PAIN and so did all the other top pros in the early 80's-mid 90s golden age of the NBA...but these men sucked it up still got out there, even lifted weights after running full court all night on home games, went right to the weight room afterwards, win or lose! The work ethic is the real problem - these new dudes who barely made the team elevated from G-league get paid 15× more than NBA starters did 25-30 yrs ago...FIFTEEN TIMES MORE...but only wanna give 1/3rd of the effort! And the ratings are now the lowest they have ever been since the ABA-NBA merger. Your new aged players are killing the NBA business model that made it popular again when Dr J, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Kareem became ambassadors of the sport. They almost filed for bankruptcy because people stoped wanting to see a bunch of hungover partied out drug addicts, even some players who smoked crack on the bus to the arena sharing it with their coaches passing it down the aisles before playing games in '78-79 season. That's what's happening all because of what you are sitting up trying to justify! No.
