@@in00n yes, because there are no hungry or starving people in the US, North Korea had a famine, thanks to the US sanctions after the collapse of USSR. Not anymore. That trial was released by far right south korean newspaper, its not real. Yes, they are a 3rd world country, their villages will not look like paradise, even though they are building new housing all over the country slowly. Look at their life expectancy for example, they are a low income country yet have higher average life expectancy than middle income countries.

The North Korean famine happend because of multiple reasons, primarily natural disasters leading to unsuccessful harvests, collapse of the USSR (DPRK's main ally and financial supporter at the time), and the North Korean government's deliberate allocation of funds and international aid exclusively to the residents of Pyongyang and nearby cities (Nampo, Pyongsong). During the famine, North Korean government officials and military personnel posed as civilians to take shipments of food from abroad to send it off to Pyongyang, before actual civilians could receive any. Thus, leaving most North Koreans to rely on the crumbling Public Distribution System (PDS), which had already been largely ineffective and experiencing issues since decades prior to the famine. Kim Il-Sung, and later Kim Jong-Il made deliberate efforts to prevent North Koreans from fleeing the country for food, and make harsher punishments for doing such. None of this has anything to do with US-imposed sanctions. Furthermore, South Korea has nothing to gain from "spreading anti-DPRK propaganda", especially since reunification would cripple our economy for decades, and lead to even more hostility between North Koreans and South Koreans. Hostility with China and Russia would rise, too. Let me ask you this... There are over 35,000 North Korean refugees worldwide. How does it make sense to you that all 35,000+ North Korean refugees are liars being payed by either the US or South Korea to slander the DPRK? If that were really the case, the vast majority of North Korean refugees wouldn't be, well, refugees. They'd be immigrants or expats who chose to leave North Korea of their own free will and volition. They and their families would have had access to the same rights, privileges, resources, and media that even people in developing countries have access to. If North Korea is such a good place to live, why is it that North Koreans are not allowed to leave? If North Korea is such a good place to live, why is it that every single North Korean refugee has only inhumane, haunting, and barbaric experiences to share to the world about North Korea? If North Korea is such a good place to live, why is there footage from North Korea itself (ca. 2024) of North Korean teenagers being sentenced to prison for watching South Korean dramas? Why is it that you DPRKoreaboos absolutely refuse to see reason, and automatically blame the US and South Korea, instead the holding the Kim Dictators and their enablers (China and Russia) accountable? Lastly, yes poverty, starvation, and homelessness exists in the US, but nowhere near to the same rate as it is present in North Korea. A homeless American, while living in tragic and unfortunate circumstances, still has it far, far better than the average North Korean does. This is because of Kim Jong-Un and his forefather's dictatorial legacies (cult of personality and the self-proclaimed "Kim Dynasty"/Mount Paektu Bloodline), and their continued human rights abuses. North Korea is host to some of the world's worst human rights abuses and most oppressive government of contemporary history, and the fact that DPRKoreaboos, and the world as a whole has turned a blind eye to North Korean's endless suffering, and actively praises the dictatorship is disgusting. P.S. my grandparents are from North Korea, and I've met a handful of North Korean refugees, including children and teens who have defected less than a decade ago. I'm more qualified to speak on this than you are.

@@krazeetobi The Traditonal Chinese translation is wrong too, shouldnt be 韓國中央電視台 as 韓國 is South Korea, but should rather be 朝鮮中央瑱視台 as 朝鮮 is North Korea

In Japanese,usually use Kitachosen as DPRK,use Chosen as this state before divided.
