These guys ride the same roads up and down all day, so that's fairly safe. Let's hope they have their wits about on unfamiliar roads, but they will likely hardly be moving there. 😅

@@619WISHY oh, the camera. It’s just a GoPro 9 mounted on my helmet by a Chin Mount. Nothing fancy at all. Bought an Insta360 Go 3 but haven’t used it yet

I grew up running pmar. VW GTI, civic, prelude, sportster, kawi 650. Best when there's snow on the ground at night, pretty much have the mountain to yourself

@ that’s awesome man! I was really into cars most of my life. Started going up there late last year, and the second half of this year they were doing construction on the south side so we couldn’t ride there. It’s my favorite road by far right now. Let’s get back on the saddle and ride it again 👊

It’s Max’s friend Saiyan. Hella good rider, they just ride too fast up there but this road forces you to slow down and be way more technical

Most rides are chill, enjoying the scenery. Every now and again when conditions are right we push a tad 😅

Thing is I “Literallee” (see what I did there ?! lol ) learned a lot of what I do from him. I’m actually working on riding more point and shoot with my litter bike, but outside/middle/outside is usually what I default too

@@literal_lee notice several of these corners are taken as a double apex. So an early turn in to set up on the outside for the second part of the corner.

@@Renaissance_cycles Sorry for my delayed response but, hey Xmas 🍻🥳 Well, by the looks of things you are doing neither, but you are apexing late and is where my praise goes. MJ's line is outside-inside-outside (and not point and shoot as he likes to portray), which takes away too much vision IMHO. It's alright for the kind of empty roads you guys are riding, but on busy public roads that is akin to playing Russian Roulette, if you ask me. Then again, whenever I ride #realtwisties, I hardly ever ride the same road twice, but we just ride like the wind anyway. "Here today, gone tomorrow". 😎🥳 But we still like to survive so O-I-O is not the way go to go.

@@j1j1j1j1j1 yeah it looks raw, and it’s good to show how bumpy the track actually is. The GoPro stabilization makes the road seems super smooth which is not the case more often than not 😂

Yeah, it almost has a vintage feel to it. I think it really works, especially with this camera angle, because the bike and body movements are more or less fixed to the camera.

Thanks. Yes, specially on the front straight, I’m staying then going middle for 1 second and going back off 🤦‍♂️ There’s unnecessary upshifts in a few places like 12-13. A friend and CVMA rider who is really fast both directions gave me some play by play pointers that helped me out pinpoint exactly some habits and I can’t wait to go back and test it out. Thanks for your input
