last chance, played on a fretless Gold Tone in Washington County Pennsylvania (May 2024) disclaimer: you should NEVER sit, stand, or walk on live railroad tracks! this particular line (rook subdivision) i'm very familiar with, and know the general times/frequencies of the trains that come through here (and even then, its a bad idea) be safe!

a little compilation of train sounds from a recent trip i was on. for when you live in a house and you can't sleep and "distant trains echoing in the rain" isn't cutting it anymore. recorded on a shitty cell phone so sorry for the quality. the pics don't necessarily match up to the exact trains i was on but i did the best i could . goodnight

Just started seeing your videos pop up on here. Outstanding stuff man. Ive been playing for about 4 years and am kind of kicking myself for never playing out of G tuning until recently. Double C has become my jam. Looks like you are often playing in sawmill? Maybe a step lower too? It sounds so nice. Please keep em coming!
thanks! yeah, different tunings are a great way to break through a plateau, but there are great songs in every tuning. this one i usually play in "cumberland gap" tuning, which is just sawmill with the drone tuned down a whole step (tuned lower on the gourd)
