Just bought one, i needed something to work with both Windows 11 and macOS Sequoia since i really dislike running softwares on Parallels. It has USB-C , HDMI 2.0 and supports 4K Display. Besides the integrated graphics, Its almost perfect. Cons: you can't upgrade the SSD but if you find one with the storage space you need, get one with lower ram memory. You will be able to upgrade the Ram easily, the most importing item is the SSD. 💯

If you’re going pull it apart, why not re-paste the cpu? Thermal performance would definitely benefit from it with it being a few years old. I just purchased one of 2018 models for a decent deal and waiting on it to arrive. I’ll also be upgrading it too when it arrives

You skipped over a major step between removing the fan and pushing out the board. There are two cables connected to the end of the board; one from the power supply and another from somewhere else (not sure what it's for) that need to be disconnected. If you just go in there and push out the board you can easily break one or both of those connectors/cables. Of course they also need to be re-connected when you put the board back in and before you re-install the fan. You also didn't show that you kept one of the 4GB RAM modules in place when actually putting it back together - the way you edited the video it looks like you took out the two 4's and stuck in one 8 for no net gain.
