John A. Brink - On The Brink Podcast
Canada
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 29 เม.ย. 2020
Home of the On The Brink Podcast episodes. A little bit about me: I commenced my life long forest industry career in Holland. I enjoy having a broad involvement in both secondary and primary manufacturing in both Holland and Canada. I have the unique benefit of having extensive hands-on knowledge and experience. I have a passion for the forest industry and many find my vision for the future inspiring. In 1965, I was 25 years-old when I arrived in Canada with $25.47 in my pocket. My vision for a prosperous new life burned brightly as I made my way to Prince George. 10 years later, I founded Brink Forest Products. The Brink Group of Companies is a portfolio of companies focusing primarily on lumber remanufacturing and real estate development. We proudly employ more than 400 employees in Northern British Columbia. Through passion, work ethic and the right attitude, I continue to lead our company, with our primary operations focusing on the production of value-added wood products.

Worked with Vern at Costco for several years. He was always a kind natured person. Very impressive arm wrestling career to say the least!
Good idea
Seems to bbe promising.
Opening statement can be said about all that came west in the old days , Wild Wild West .
👌😍 Healthcare is an extremely important issue . Thanks for promoting healthy lifestyles. Congratulations on successful achievements.
Many thanks for the interesting conversation. It is amazing how technology has brought so many minds together. I'm listening from Dublin, Ireland and love that we can all be 'at home' and fully international at the same time. Kind regards, Isabella Codd.
He should be saying for trudeau to fix the border so no more tarrifs are applied. Pretty easy solution. This whole podcast is a waste of time as canada should just stop drugs and illegals from coming in regardless of trumps tarrif threats. His whole problem is woke leftist provincial and federal governments but he says nothing about this
Hey John when will you here back from canfor on your offers of buying there mills ?
I love you too dear
What a treat! @kimegel, my favorite person on Earth!
The forest is already completely destroyed. Forestry doesn’t harvest much big wood anymore.
The mill finished yesterday in FSJ. Rumour going around is it will be dismantled and sold off and the rest scrapped………similar to Chetwynd. #BCgoinggreen #complimentsofthendp
nice

i remeber mid 90's meatings with the main topic free trade is a dead deal for B.C, got passed any ways, then a year later meatings on are mills are dieing a quick death only multinational gobalist can get logs..... so now we got jimmy owning every mill in B.C. no logs and no jobs.... so what again has changed? and making things intresting belive the NDP was running the show localy back then also.... just saying maybe just maybe local logs should feed local mills big or small before raw log exports.
He is a NDP Guy NDP and liberals kill the wood industry they think 🤔 we don't no ouf

Trump has also said he would use tariffs as a means to bring governments to the table in order to make a fair deal. What we need is the right Prime Minister to deal with him in order to get a fair deal. We will only end up with tariffs if our government is inept and cannot come up with a trade agreement that will benefit both countries.
BC is the most efficient lumber manufacturing in the world, the result of fighting for survival for the last 50 years. Canabalizing, streamlining, you name it. At least the coast can be considered renewable plantations. Turn the lights out on the slow growth areas that are harvested. I retired 2015 after 48 years in one sawmill division on Vancouver Island. She's done boys. We went through all the things you talk about. American sawmills are paying half the wages and Canada can not stand up to them from getting our logs. WFP is not processing any logs at this moment. He who has the logs has the gold from here on in

Thank you for having me!
It was proved long ago that Bob's product does not have any C60 in it. On a side note sunflower seed oil is one of the worst oils you could possibly use. Real C60 would dissolve into sunflower seed oil as a beautiful purple color not ink toner black. th-cam.com/video/IUcLgO-reuw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Idict5CHDPHmq5Pk th-cam.com/video/trUEMlFiG2I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gQndAAo6oG14viG3
