Good as far as it goes, BUT if using a SAN to provide the strorage for the client then the source and the target are the same and it just boils down to which CPU to use and when to deduplicate. I do it on my SAN as a background process.

Very good video, I've started getting into studying and understanding the functions of the btrfs file system for home use. I think that this is a massive benefit of nvme ssds using in line deduplicating at high speeds. Especially for computers with little space such as Chromebooks and sbc's.
