Great video! I am planning a tesla coil, and as much as I would like to use Cornel Dubilier Caps in an MMC, they are just too expensive. So I am debating rolled caps or saltwater Leyden jar caps. I am thinking that there must be a way to make rolled caps with Kapton film and foil by making a rolling jig that rolls the foil very flat, perhaps in a mineral oil bath, then submerged in an oil filled container and a vacuum applied to get any air out. With all this the Cornel caps don't look so expensive...

Is the voltage on the anode the same as the input voltage?? I know on the big single discharge spark gap the voltage will be multiplied. But I’m not wanting to run any resistors where I don’t need to. On my larger spark gap I know I’ll have to run a resistor so I don’t hurt my transformer. Please lmk bro

Can you tell me sir if there circuet exist that can run dual ignition coils at different polarity ? To have 1 coil fire normal negative ground and the other fire positive ground ore this ( + - ,-+,++,-- polarity). Also I was wondering how to use high amp capacitor with hv voltage ceramic capacitors at centrain engine speeds wuld that be posibel to use bouth? The problem that I come across me delco 12si alternator starting charge get effected be capacitors and the lead acid baterry experiance different effects so how to protect your self from static ore ground problems to the baterry and alternator. If you have gmail please I wuld like to tell you some strange effects . If posibly please help me . I cant solve me projects alone Im not good with electronics. Strange effects are good but some are anoying who I wuld like to get ride off . Did you ever try to use psu as power suplly?? What wuld hapen if you reverse polarity those pulses? Is it posibel fiering ignition coil by ordinary blinker relay? Thats what hapening by my I cant turn engin off when all 4 blinker are working. It is cinde of anoying but I like my engin working that way it seams I get hoter spark for some reason so I was wondering culd I force my ignition system to work on lower speed ? I have clasic gm ignition 4pin module build in distributor Im useing induction triger build in the distributor and have gm's e core type singel hei ignition coil. So I was wondering how I can make that thing dubel fire? I have multipel coils . And I have question if that 4 pin gm ignition module is polarity sensitive and I have positive linear voltage regulator inside the dasboard I can not use the bypass voltage on my starter selenoid who has S and R terminal my fuse pops simply I have hard time in winter starting my engin so any kinde of help wuld by nice. How do I make polarity tester how can I bypass the problem with sensibel polarity trigers and coils? Because I need that starter selenoid I dont know how to bypass this problem. And are there some variabel oscilators awailabel? So I can make stationary engin runing on low rpm?

Can you show me a more detailed version of the circuit? Like exactly what components you used for it.

I need method to INCREASE high voltage from lawn mower magneto ignition fed by North field magnet on flywheel. Diode added just drops output to 4KV. Would capacitor added in parallel to the 2MH inductor coil primary increase the output volts? The solid state trigger module replaces the points and 600v condenser capacitor. Primary Coil resonant frequency about 1-5KHZ. This is single pulse type - not an oscillator ignition. Magnet induction 1-8 volts. The flyback pulse as minus 130v from primary is what runs the secondary coil so as only 8kv to spark plug. Output diode added, reduces voltage by 60%, and very narrow spark gap then required.

Double or triple up nylon. Roll entire thing then use refrigerator pump to saturate with resin from vacuum.. Like to see 100kV / 1uF could do. Be safe and excellent channel 👍
