It's really cool that you guys are still playing and uploading twelve years after the game came out, BF3 dogfighting is like one of the most hidden gems in gaming, if only more people knew about it and how fun it can be. These fights were really nice, some amazing switches in there too!

When I miss a switch like flufy did at 5:05 and 6:10 I instantly die. The fact that he stayed alive after those switches is crazy. You guys are on another level. GGs
@@DARKENERGY 5:05 is the radar switch. Its a recent trick the high level pilots came up with. If you go up or down at a certain angle without ecm, they think you are on the same height but in reality, you were opposite. Its not something I can do well. Nerv, bitsharp, darksider, and Javi are very good at it
@@flufymarshmllows7684 yeah darksider always played without ecm vs me and he was always pulling this hoodini shit lol. Took me awhile to realize what was happening and how I was miss reading everything 😂
@@flufymarshmllows7684 Why do you think it's recent? You can see switches like that in Ronen vs Haim from 2015, that's the first time I recall seeing them, not even saying Ronen created them he could have learned it from Haim or something or saw it in other videos I don't know, but I'm just not sure why you think it's recent only. I'd basically just describe it as a pitch up switch, there are few different variations of it the one at 5:05 is not quite the same as ones you can see Ronen do in 2015 but it's the same concept, he nearly kills Haim a couple of times with those switches I believe.
@@DeCoR18 its really all about what is meta. And you need to understand context. 2015 was a year where the meta was in a state of flux and people did learn things that they did not understand were game evolving. And you can see in that match that both pilots are not playing conservative and they are in voice chat. After 2015 everyone went back to cutting. You can see this by looking at almost all videos from the 2016-17 official matches including haim and ronen. Both pilots certainly did things which were ahead of their time but it was not until 2020 that the new gen took those things and actually perfected them. Things like radar switches, fakes, and even snapshots. Im not saying Haim and Ronen were subpar at these things. But they had their backbone in old school dogfighting so it took the 2020 gen of active pilots to perfect those moves they started doing but did not take to their highest levels you see now. Fight people like nerv, darksider, bitsharp, doublefake switch and you will understand dogfighting is in a different meta than before because these moves haim and ronen did back then were taken, perfected, and used like a real strategy rather than pocket tricks.
