I'd build a vertical sled and clamp it to that then push the sled. Basically looks like a vertical board with a box on the back that fits over the fence and slides along it.

Bro! Use your push stick down low and clear your material from blade, then deal with the fall off. It’s not worth the hand getting sucked into that blade.

Can see it got hung up at the edge of the plate/saw intersection. Best bet in that scenario is to either SLOWLY reach for the off switch while holding the piece in place(not backing up or shifting it)…wait for blade to safely stop, or slowly lift it straight up with two hands….the blade is at a 45 so any upward lift immediately removes the piece from the blade. Obviously it wasn’t intentional, but if that scenario ever occurs, sliding the piece back is always a poor first option.

Very dangerous considering it’s on a 45. That trick works on a square blade. Ideally, you will put a shim under the throat to make it flush. Otherwise the only thing you can do at that point is to delicately kill the power. Butthole clincher at the very least haha
