How is my money secured in the “ brokerage “ account ?

I wish... top of the hill overlooking a beautiful lake in a high demand area, and with that much square footage? $10M-$15M easily in places like northern or southern California

@@d3vi0uz1 I used to live in California and $15M for a house like that on a hill we are talking in the (ghetto) Inland Empire. If this was in the hills or Malibu its more than $20M easy

​@@net2dev I'm a realtor in CA who focuses on high end properties. Coastal properties / beach front is not the same as lake, so Malibu comparisons aren't meaningful here. Also, you need to look at the actual listing to do a direct comp. This property is "only" 7200 sqft with a small lot, and it lacks a country club, golf course, exclusive association, and lacks amenities on the property (again, small lot). Apples to apples comparing recent comps and assuming this was coastal (not beach front, walkup), this is a $15m home at most in a market like Malibu. EDIT: I found a few comps in Malibu in the hills (not beach front), which seem to be equidistant to the water as this Guatape property and have similar square footage although bigger lots. They're in the $12-$15m range

@@d3vi0uz1 Im currently living in Medellin, bout two hours from this lake and I can tell you I will pay 20million for it if I had the money and it was priced at that. The quality of life, no traffic, breathing fresh air, not eating processed foods and best of all no wokeness and no Newsomlini to worry about values it way more than overpriced druggie Malibu.
