its def a high voltage insulator, they were commonly made of glass and or ceramic, nowadays they are made of synthetic materials like resins and fiberglass

Insulator for electrical lines, people collect these especially the colored ones. My grandma collects them and I always thought it was kinda weird.
It's a part of a glass insulator used on high-voltage wires to stop the juice from arcing to ground. Looks melted af though, prob why it was scrapped...
