With the 433’s contract being retained by Abellio the route is being converted to a fully electric route. Abellio have begun taking delivery of the brand new electric single deckers that will be running on the 433 later this year.

Following on from having a handful of days off of work, I felt like taking a small trip back to my old local haunts and see what has been happening on the bus scene. Electrics on the 359, what a shock to me, I remember the solid days of the Dennis Darts and the MAN’s. Bring back the good old days!

With the withdrawal of numerous ENL’s from the ENL101-112 batch, ENL104 is one of a few of a handful remaining at South Croydon for the 166.

I do really like these HV’s that have come over to Croydon, very smooth and nice. HV49-56 have come over to aid in the withdrawal of T42/43/60-65 and 199.

So just as I was heading home with a friend, SE173 magically appears on the 434, following 191 breaking down. Couldn’t miss the opportunity to film this. I also filmed SE19 on the 434 3 years ago.

Its not a mark 2, there was only one generation of gemini 1s, volvo just changed their dashboard in 2006. Nice video tho

The last day this bus was in service was July 23, 2021, on what was also the last day in service for Route 357. It was first registered on 22nd September 1999, meaning on its last day in service, it was almost 22 years old.

@@TEEBRposts Arriva didn't win any routes, Sounds like Beddington really shouldn't be going through Tooting, Sutton, Morden or Wimbledon... Go-Ahead as monopoly. 270 Transport UK and 655 RATP. Merton borough needs new route from Colliers Wood - Thornton Heath Station via N155 tooting bec, 249 Streatham and 250.

lost a bus card in that bus so waiting till it comes to my bus stop and getting it because I went to Abillio London Croydon Depot to check where is my card and they wont find it so I am gonna have to see to get it/
This bus is now with Warrington’s Own Buses. It was past over to Warrington’s Own Buses in 2021

Lol, honestly I don't think they should have the route anymore. There maintenance in Abellio Beddington is absolutely sh** and I can imagine going on there Electric buses and already is going to have either electrical problems or a faulty motor.
The others are good. If you think BC is that bad you clearly haven’t seen TH

@@bigadventurewithbuses01 you sure it’s T42? I was on T42 a few days ago and it was even out on the 466 today lol Edit: T42 and T43 are contracted to a school route here so they will remain at Arriva for some time
