This ride was excellent and really showed its strength. The drop was great following the intense valley smashing the positives. The inversions were also surprisingly forceful with decent hangtime. Lastly the pacing of this ride was phenomenal considering it's a dive coaster as they tend to have dead spots while emperor exceeded those expectations! Highly recommend checking out this ride! This Premier Rides Sky Rocket absolutely took my breath away with how intense this thing is! Only issue is the restraints, taller riders (like me) may find these really uncomfortable and can crush you especially in the back row!

Hey AustraliaSydneyViews, next time you guys should take light rail! It goes right there to the park. If I recall correctly there's actually a "great america" stop on the light rail. So if you guys stayed in downtown San Jose, like at the fairmont, you can just walk over to the light rail and ride it up there. 🙂 I grew up going to this park....I'm 46 now....sad to see it go. I hope the City of Santa Clara can do something to keep it. They used to own the land, maybe they can buy it back.

There's an anecdote of someone asking Alan Schilke if the ride was performing as he expected after he rode the front of Railblazer and said "yes". Then they asked him "Have you ridden the back?" He had not. And as we can see, no future raptors have been as intense as the first round of prototypes. They definitely overshot what they were going for in the back rows.
Glad you had a great time at GA! It's very unfortunate the park will be closing down in a few years since the park was sold to a redevelopment company. Great memories there.

I know it rodprime....I grew up going to GA....I hope the City of Santa Clara can try and stop it.....I guess all good things must come to an end....that will leave us with just Six Flags in Vallejo and the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. I have never been to Six Flags but I heard it sux 😞
