The Machine War ended in a draw for both sides as they destroyed each other, the female administrator of the quantum server was unable to save N2 (machine's network) so she absorbed her instead, now She, by Reincarnation time, is the only one left on the planet

In season 2 (the sun and moon), Yuzuki and Hina are alternate version from our timeline (where there was no red dragon or giant) called to the cage . Their true/original (nier timeline) version was their EX/side story, they were crusader soldier who fight people turned into red eye monster during global pandemic in year 2028 Before this chapter, act I uncover the truth of the cage which is in fact the cage is virtual space inside lunar base server. There's only humanity data like genes, history, memory saved on the moon base server. Also mama summoned characters that appeared from previous chapters to protect the cage from viruses, you can think these characters as anti-virus, these characters are memory inside weapons in the cage, they could be alternate version of infinite simulations/ possibilities. After this chapter which is last chapter act 3, it will uncover what was going on after the red dragon fell in shinjuku.. pandemic leads to extinction, infected people turn into red eye monster, project gestalt, how replicant 1.22 ending E leads to reincarnation, uncover quantum server, red girl fate, post automata event, why the earth looks like the cage with infinite high building.

Me as well.

When you try a game out make sure to first have played its prequels, else you end up sounding like a clown. If you are shallow or concave skulled, thats on you, not on the game. Everyone else praises it and recognizes it adds and connects lore more than any other NieR game.

@@novustalks7525 Guess that confirms you are clueless. Square Enix is known for doing this to its games. But the whole point of the EOS is linked to the story in a very Yoko Taro way. It confirms you didnt actually pay the game or you are too shallow to understand the story. It also shows that you are clueless about how his game operate. No one agrees with you, in fact it is the only comment i've seen regarding this game, since it launched. I know you are seeking validation even if false, but if you knew anything about the community you'd see how dedicated they are to this game from before, during and after its existence.

My apologies for the very late reply. I was unfortunately unable to archive all chapter cutscenes and gameplay due to time restraints and lack of storage. However you can definitely find an archive of all story cutscenes on other yt channels like BuffMaister who did a great job recording them all.

You're right, replicant ver 1.22 ending E leads nier timeline to Reincarnation. This will answered in last chapter, act III I wonder if automata 1.1a anime has different ending from the original game that also leads to Reincarnation 🤔

As far as I understand, yes and no. Fio is data, human data to be precise. You could definitely argue humanity is back but full flesh and blood humans, not yet at least. That’s where I wonder what role Yuzuki and Hina will have in the future as they are the only actual humans (as they came from an alternate timeline where the events of Drakengard and NieR never happened). But overall how humanity will be resurrected (or reincarnated) is yet to be seen.

@@SmallSoulSDyeah this whole scene confused me too like maybe the technology stuff is mixed with magic and that’s how she came back? I think I seen a video that actually some of the abilities the yohora uses in integrated with magic that’s why swords can float behind there back and stuff and other cases

I guess in the end, it doesn't really matter if she's human or not. I'd just say that it's very Yoko Taro to make Fio the last reincarnated flesh and blood human to ever live, an innocent little girl who only wanted to make friends, the best of human nature.

Unless Yoko decides to go with something different I’m also assuming the next NieR game would be set in the same timeline, in which case it would probably be set years or centuries after the events of Reincarnation. As for what exactly we’d see I’m not too sure, at least I do hope androids and machines get along especially considering Her’s valuable data of both humanity and machines (after absorbing N2/Red Girl). Another thing I’m also curious about is the role Hina and Yuzuki would play as they are both humans.

They’re story was on repeat lithe other stories that’s why there’re endings had multiple endings one where they fail and one where they realize to put aside their anger and hate. Seems like they were repenting just like every other data character

@@SmallSoulSD I always thought about a game looping back to Drakengard, on which we see the Capital city seen in Drakengard 3 and the dragons, that way we go full circle since the appearance of the city was the start of everything on this franchise. We could learn more about the gods, the flower and Accord.

Nah, machines didn't build new civilization. "Her" (female administrator from the tree from Nier Replicant) changed the surface of Earth and based it on alien civilization.

@@wangstickdidn’t the machine network leave at the end of automata? The ones left over aren’t connected and had free will, therefore they stopped fighting the androids bc they no longer needed to. Maybe I’m misunderstanding the story tho

Apologies for the late reply. Yes they are human as they are from a separate timeline where the events of Drakengard-NieR never occurred and humanity survived. However players do speculate whether their human nature went through a change when they entered The Cage.

nope but to say the least the weapons in Nier world saved people memories in it and for 2B,it was her regrets that was lingered in the weapons but the real 2B and 9S is still on earth,waiting

yep also actually before Reincarnation is made she actually had a story in a novella called A sea too silent ( correct me if im wrong) its in one of the books from neir called Strategy Guide it also contains stories or thoughts from 2b and 9s, so she techinically debuted their but is now being presented in Neir Reincarnation as its Yorha

the cage is a server from the moon and i think it is warped and was made to reflect the home of the aliens that invaded earth, if you know what the aliens that went to earth then you know what its possibly saying (i shat myself when i realized this)
