Many thx for your informative vid. I’m a native of Cola but moved away for school in the early ‘80s. Had 3 kids, now all grown, & now thinking of returning to Cola area for retirement. I own a lot on Lake Murray, only 25 min drive from Broad River Township. This condo looks perfect! As I plan to spend much of the year abroad, I need a place with security. I do wish you’d covered size, in Sq ft or M, & association fees, in the video. I’ll subscribe & watch for future listing there or other nearby communities.

Cola native here, moved away for school in 1983 & have lived most of my life abroad. I own a waterfront lot, purchased by my dad in the early ‘60s, in Ballentine. It’s one of very few undeveloped lots so close to town, just 12-15 min from Colombiana Mall. I live in China, but am thinking of settling down there, building a house. I was last there in 2018 but hope to visit the area again before the end of the year.

No alligators in Lake Murray (at least when I was a kid, in the 1960s), but there are alligator gars & alligator snapping turtles. Neither poses much risk to swimmers, but be cautious about dangling toes off docks where they’re known to hang out.

Dirty lakes have always made my skin crawl, I can deal with gross lake beds with mud and sticks but muddy water no thanks

Goat me at 10:45 after the band… tried his damndest to get me to fail all the sobriety tests he gave me.
