The official TH-cam channel for Prosthetic Design Inc. PDI was founded in 1991 and stood for CAD/CAM integration through modular parts and production materials.
Today PDI is located in Clayton Ohio and continues to develop and refine the process of prosthetic manufacture, assembly, and adjustability for the clinician, technician, and patient.
Most recently, PDI has pioneered the use of 3D printing techniques to quickly and efficiently produce lower limb prosthetic sockets for patients. For over 7 years these printed sockets have been in use with zero failures. This new technology allows us to create custom sockets for patients and clinics alike with a 1-2 day turnaround normally.

Very good video
Carbon fiber sockets are much better ;light sockets , cool carbon fiber look and mote resistant. So NO to 3 d printer sockets. My opinion.

Instead of using the pva bag in the beginning I instead just use a pva sheet. This works for me since I use a long roll of pva to fab my bags and I use the left over as sheets
