(Sorry for the sound! I was almost next to the microphone and its volume setting were 20 dB - and I noticed it too late...!) When you buy either an aluminium (or plastic) Danmar pad, you'll probably encounter this problem that it falls off and especially in the middle of the song. And oh boy do I know that feeling...! This adhesive should be available at any hardware store etc.

Viime syksynä löysin eräästä TH-cam-videosta tällaisen kajakin ja siitä lähtien on ollut ääretön hinku päästä itsekin kokeilemaan. Once upon a time, there was a drum set that happened to be the absolute worst set I've ever played in my life. Over ten years later they ended up for me. I didn't have any use for them either but afterwards one acquaintance of mine happened to have some use/need and then I started the restoration. This is a painting about our cats and it has taken longer than any other so far. I've never painted any pictures of pets or portraits and whatsoever. I don't think I will for now. But I can say that I've learned all kinds of stuff by doing this painting. You can also see how the summer changes to the winter in the video. Enjoy my bad jokes! ;)

This time we've got a little shorter video because of technical problems. About half of the video files were corrupted for some reason, I don't know what exactly went wrong... I've got an inspiration for this theme at one night couple months ago. There was a full moon and a clear sky and the landscape was covered with a smooth fog. And oh how the trees were like solid black silhouettes!

El Estepario Siberiano (aivan tajuton jätkä) taitaaki käyttää tota kyseistä setuppia ja se kyl vaikuttaa pätevältä vehkeeltä. Tosin about samalla rahalla saisin varmaan päivitettyä ton mun nykyisen koneeni ja kasattua nykyisistä osista erillisen äänityskoneen (joka ois muutenkin tarkoitus). Pitäis vaan vielä äänikortti kattoa jostain. Saishan tietty näistä rumpucovereista pätevää harjoittelua sille, että sais tehtyä edes jonkun perusmiksauksen.

Thanks! :D I've been doing this for 5 years now and I've also painted on bass drum heads as well. I've put all the heads on wall except some bass drum heads that are in actual use and they're still intact! I sprayed some clear coat on them to make sure they stay intact for the time being.
@@Erakko- do you have a website or gallery of them somewhere? would like to see more of them also i wonder how it holds up in action? it could be cool to paint something to anticipate the shockwave/cracks
@@HANKUS No, I just make videos on TH-cam and all of the painted drum heads are pretty much for decoration. I'd love to make a test video in the future when I get a good soundcard etc.
Makkarapaketin voi laittaa suoraan kiukaalle eikä putkeen oon tehny monta kertaa jo 80 luvulta lähtien
Mä en ainakaan usko tähän kikkaan, kunnes toisin todistetaan.

En omista saunaa joten en tiedä miksi edes katsoin koko videon mut mitään en kadu 😅

Nyt tulee mieleen miten isoäitini kans saunoi aktiivisesti ja laittoi melkein aina makkaraa. 😄 Se oli hienoa aikaa se.

Hieman elastinen liima toimii usein hemmetin hyvin, sit tosin on niitä kohteita missä edes yhteen sulattaminen ei toimi. 😂
Nyt pysyy vielä varmemmin kiinni kun laitoin tota vielä reunoihin. 👍

Cool video man, I was wondering if ppl soaked hoops like they do tension rods.
I guess most people use WD-40 and aluminium foil and just rub the rust off. Sometimes it seems to work, depending on the rust itself.

*Tilannepäivitys 2021:* Nyt huomaa miten penkki oli tuolloin liian korkealla ja jalatkin alkaa nyt vasta kehittyä. Parissa kohtaa näemmä lipsui tahdin kanssa ja fillit onkin edelleen yhtä paskoja. ;) Sitten hylkäsinkin nuo Iron Cobrat ja siirryin käyttämään Trick Dominator-pedaaleja. Ja jälkeenpäin tuo kalju näyttää oudolta kun se tukka on taas päätynyt kasvamaan. :D
Todella kauniin näköinen vaikka mitä mitään maalaamisesta tiedän, kun vedän pelkällä kynällä :D
