I am a professional dancer in the Kansas City metro area, specializing in Oriental-style belly dance and also Hawaiian hula. I teach classes and perform regularly locally and also at national and international belly dance festivals and events, and have produced numerous belly dance shows in the KC area.
I am available for hire for belly dance or hula entertainment at events such as birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, bridal or baby showers, fundraisers, etc.

Thank you Hoda! I'm so glad that you find my tutorials useful! Sorry for the delay in response, I just saw this message. This dance style is called "Iskandarani" or "Alexandrian" or "Melaya Leff" (different spellings), which is the big black scarf wrapped around. It's based on Egyptian folklore, however, it's not true folklore (like Saidi or Nubian). It was imagined by Mahmud Reda, the famous Egyptian choreographer and director of "Reda Troupe", back in the '60s, I think.
