After hanging out at the nest Ellie appears to be keeping an eye out for Eddy. She makes several calls and decides to go looking for him.

A continuation from the last video. They spent a good amount of time just hanging out together broken up by short windows of nest maintenance.

Haven’t seen Ellie or Eddy for a couple of days. The weather has been cold, rainy and with low clouds/fog. Perhaps not the best conditions for flying. Why do eagles bring green branches to the nest? Some scientists think … may serve as an insect repellent may be a clear signal to other eagles that this nest is well-tended so they better keep away may provide a bit of camouflage may help keep inside of nest clean

Ellie arrives and waits for Eddy’s return. Once Eddy arrives with another stick, both spend quality time bonding over nest preparations. I am still interested in finding out why they spend so much time mulching the soft material in the bole. Both eagles were around early this morning checking in after taking a day off. Eddy arrives back to the nest with another stick. He waits around calling for Ellie. No sooner than taking off Ellie arrives … next video.
