For those ECO WARRIORS, claiming that they are SAVING THE PLANET my study ironically proves that the GLOBAL WHINERS who PUSHED GOV AGENDA are incompetent about the arguments they are making. DEF, (as an environmentally safe solution) you would know that the DEF process does harm to the environment by making diesel engines run at 2,500 RPM while CAUSING temperatures of over 600C (GLOBAL WARMING??) for 20-90 minutes using anywhere from 4-22 gallons of diesel fuel during EACH REGEN CLEANING process, while injecting chemical and spitting debris into the air they would stop this nonsense. Now take that figure and consider that just in the United States that there is a estimated 14,486,915 diesel vehicles which have to REGEN at least twice a year we are talking about an estimated 289,738,300 gallons of diesel fuel USED just for REGEN and an estimated 9,657,943 hours of these vehicles generating 600C temperatures. Take any old images of coal trains and you will see that the EARTH LOVED COAL (which diesel is closest too). The grass was THICK and GREEN where the coal ash was deposited along the tracks. WAKE UP! This AGENDA also has created huge maintenance issues for consumers where the dealers want to replace $5,000 of unbroken parts (land fill) because it is easier to HIDE the MANUFACTURER DEFECT than to repair them under recall. Now times that by 3 because most shops are FORCED to run the REGEN 3 times per vehicle (in one day) to get some codes to clear.

A lit foam piece went down the DEF pipe , while I was putting it in my truck. What can happen? You think it'll plug? And what can I do ?

Def was full and still would not register. Ran it down to it put me at 50 mph and then idle. Changed out the def pump and the insert to def tank and still can't use the truck. 1000 in parts. Now I am just going to have the def taken out of my computer in truck , cost is 1500 but I will get better miles and don't have to deal with this shit anymore. One of the most stupidest things put on diesel trucks. Next truck I will buy without a engine and install a rebuilt with no def .

Does DEF expire inside the tank if you don’t drive as often?

Urgent Question please! My BMW X5 sensor is not registering def is full . After filling it said wrong type exhaust fluid, but it wasn’t. Then woukdnt crank. 1 time start was done with prior owner. It won’t start now.. any pointers on restarting it? BMW wants 7500.00 to repair but I don’t trust them. they over charge, especially at this dealership. Any pointers for restart thats chesper? Thank u

DEF ISNT NEEDED PERIOD

I put more DEF in my cars diesel tank...after driving around 20km...my car stopped 🛑 and called road help service to deliver it to a nearest car repair shop...shity situation
