But, you are to protect your own flock, so if you platform Todd and do not go and talk to the people that are saying they were abused by him, then you are not protecting your own people. Also, there are certain standards that are required by the scriptures that must me met by anyone that calls themselves leaders. You can restore a person who is in sin, but that restoration is to be restored to the Lord and to the Body of Christ, but that still does not make them qualified to be a leader, there are some things that will disqualify a person from being in a leadership position. You have failed Todd and you have failed your own congregation.

I think God is purging and shaking the church free of leaders with mixture in their lives. I know that John Paul Jackson was at odds with leaders who put gifting above character. It seems that there is a new, younger generation of leaders who have more integrity in their lives than those of Rick Joyner's generation. It seems to me that it is a bit like the old prophet and the new prophet. Regarding Todd Bentley, there is no reason to not allow him to pray for people if he has been restored to the Lord. But as far as leadership goes, I think he has completely disqualified himself. You can be restored to the Lord, but sometimes not be restored to a place of leadership and authority over others, because of the severity of the sin.
