Trying to conceive, tracking ovulation, timed sex, understanding your hormones and all the rest can feel like an absolute mindfield so I was really excited to test the Mira Hormone Monitor. Being able to monitor my LH, progesterone and estrogen, getting lab-grade results all in the comfort of my own home almost felt too good to be true... but I'm so happy to tell you its not! Wow - it sounds like you and your baby went through a lot. I know that breastfeeding is really pushed on Mums but the benefits are mainly population wide, in the first year and the long term outcomes positive benefits are also associated with the socio economic background that the baby comes from. The fact that your baby is so much happier on formula speaks volumes. Sounds like he got the best of both worlds so you did a great job. The whole breast is best messaging is off and a lot of it comes from the fact that developing countries don’t have the clean water that is needed for formula. Formula is a life saver, not all babies were able to breastfeed in the past and unfortunately they didn’t make it - I think what formula has really done for infants and mums can be massively overlooked. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Sunday down the road I'll probably get my tubes tied not hysterectomy😢 I hope you had to go through this hysterectomy
That was also my husband's response when I suggested Ophelia for a girl 😂
@@cassidymcelveen665 glad my husband isn’t alone 😂

Hi there, when in the cycle do they recommend starting testing? Is it first week like LH strips? Mentioned it’s expensive, how much is the kit, and 10 or 20 strips? Thanks 💜
You look lovely, do you mind me asking what mascara you’re wearing/what lash treatment you’ve had, they look great ☺️
Thank you! They’re classic lash extensions 💖
If you already had one child via IVF, can you have NHS funding again for the second child? Thank you !
Depends on your ICBs policy but as far as I’m aware this is a no across most, if not all x
Just found your channel, good luck with everything. Im planning on starting ivf in a couple months time so its good to hear about your experiences 😊
Thank you! It’ll be our fourth go so lots of videos to catch up on if you need! 🩷🩷
@@AmberIzzo 💯 will give them a watch later;
Good luck you guys I'm hoping you get your 2nd little miracle xxx
Thanks so much love 🩷
I am very excited for you! ❤ Can you get embryos genetically tested in UK? Sorry for the ignorance! 🙈
Thank you! You can, that’s the PGT testing I mentioned 💖
Anyone in the comments going through FET in the UK?
I am! It's my FET tomorrow 😬
@@TheMartinClowes hello 👋 I'm hijacking the comments section. Not sorry as today has been so emotionally draining. I had my prostrap injection yesterday. Is this your first FET? How are you feeling? I just wanted to know if anyone was on tinzaparin or similar medication to me and what to expect. What time are you booked in for? Sending you lots of positive energy and keeping everything crossed for you
@@syz9199 thanks and sending you lots of love and luck as well! This is our third go. Is this your first round? I'm on Lubion injections, I don't recognise the name of the injections you're taking but maybe someone else will. All the best! X
good luck with your journey , I'm hoping this works out for you guys and you get the little girl / boy you're hoping for xxx
What is website address for Asda fertility medications? I know if someone trying to find it online.
I don’t believe you can order online, you have to go into the pharmacy :)
I love this sweater! Where did you get that?
Thank you! It’s ASOS xxx
You look amazing, i love the stuffed giraffe in the back lol
Hahaha! My son’s room has the best lighting 😅😅😅
Three words. Drop. dead. gorgeous.
Hello queen ❤❤
Wishing you good luck. We are probably going to do the same. We have our 15 month old and will just try and transfer our remaining embryo next year. And if it isn't successful then we will not continue trying. (I'm 41)
Thank you. It feels like the right choice for us 🤍 sending you so much love and luck xxx
Wishing you the best!! (Absolutely everything crossed). Thinking of you x
Thank you so much x

You looks very beautiful ❤️
really enjoyed watching this vlog , love the reality , let's us know where you are up to with your frozen egg transfer , i saw on your last vlog you were thinkging about it xxxx
Thanks, Elaine - glad you enjoyed it! I'll include a full update in next weeks vlog xxx
I really enjoy watching your videos and your realness! My son is 2 months younger than Joey so I love to see what you both get up to ❤️
This is so kind thank you! 💖💖
I’m so happy for you that you got the frozen embryos that you wanted. Fingers crossed for the one you transferred PUPO! Ps I know this is in the past but I’m watching this as if it was now and commenting 😊
Hi, do you mind sharing the amount of eggs that was retrieved n how many made it to stage two for each cycle?
Lancelot Lester Kenton Ruth Russell(Rusty) Rupert Ada Ashley Atlas Alec Justice Justin Journey Julianna(Julie) Juniper Jubilee Quinn and Jack Matthew Clark Chelsey Clayton Constable Emerson and Holden Malcolm Grant Quest Kelsea
Would you be able to stay with the clinic you are with now…..do 1 more transfer, but transfer 2 embryos? Would that be an option for you?
Sadly not. I personally wouldn’t ever transfer two embryos. We decided the risks weren’t worth it for us 🤍
ABC are pretty cheap but they don’t personalise
They were our first clinic, personally wouldn’t ever go back there 🤍
Good luck making a decision! If you do a follow up/update video, are you able to share a bit more about how Gaia works with frozen transfers? I’ve contacted them for a quote but have been told I’m not able to start with embryos I already have frozen 😕 xx
Is someone snoring in the background or dodgy audio…?
Hahah, I popped in the description box I have NO idea what that is! It wasn’t on the edit and I tried to reupload but no clue!! Nobody was snoring I assure you 😂😭
@@AmberIzzo haha thank you! I noticed it in your other video, as I was trying to listen so intently 🤣
@@geoab123 it’s so weird! I’ll figure it out before next week 😭😭😭🥴😂
£9K for a FET is insane. I'm with CRGW, they charge £225 for a consultation, £1995 for a FET and £200 for an endometrial scratch. I'm currently pregnant with my second CRGW baby. X
Congratulations! 🤍🫶🏼
It is worth contacting your clinic directly to see if they will do an individual estimate for you. We did this and it cost less than anticipated .The medication in particular for an FET was a lot less than a fresh i think about £800 less and this included having to change my oestrogen due toan adverse reaction). Also when i fell pregnant on a private round my clinic wrote a letter to my GP to request certain meds were prescribed to maintain pregnancy. At that point the GP agreed to prescribe so it was only cost of NHS prescription
We have spoken to the clinic and they gave us a rough outline 🤍🫶🏼 thank you x
This video brought me to tears a few times 🥹 so lovely to see how happy you are, and totally agree nothing can prepare you for being a mum! I have an almost 2 year old - the regulating MY emotions is the hardest part, I thought I'd done so much work on myself pre motherhood but there are so many new things I'm discovering and having to work on. Wishing all the best things for you and your family in 2024 ☺️
This is so lovely 🫶🏼 thank you so much! Happy New Year xx
At 34 I got preg right side fallopian tube ectopic with twins had to have right tube removed. Took the dye test to see if left is blocked. Found it it was hydrosalpinx only a 10% opening. After a year of trying with one damaged tube no baby yet. Decided to get the left and only tube removed which would leave me infertile at 35. Bc i knew how the pain was from the ectopic it didnt phase me the second time i had to do the surgery. It does hurt thought. They sent me home with laxatives. Now that both tubes r removed i do struggle with self worth...but I have come to terms that i needed it to get removed so i can get ivf. It took me a year to come to the realization this is what it is and i was determined to have a baby so come Jan. 2024 rainbow baby on the way.

We rocked and cuddled Olly to sleep for ages untill he decided he did not want it anymore he like j started pushing us away screaming so we stopped persisting with the rocking as he clearly did not want it and put him down in his cot and he then started going to sleep independently for bed time and has done so since however he was a contact napper untill he pretty much started to faze out his naps ! He is now 4 months away from being 2 and only naps once in the day but thays dossapering as hell go a good 2 or 3 days with no naps 🙈🙈 there all so different with sleep and i loved the cuddling to sleep miss it now tbh !! I sware the clothes are just made big ollys 20 months and still in q1 to 18 months and in some shops even the 12 to 18 month bottoms just fall down 😂
Besutifull beach day! Teething is tough! Olly had his come thick and fast bardly any break between pairs coming through and even cut 2 of his back mollers at the same time ... that was hard going 🙈! The loosing weight after baby i sware is so much harder ! Was considering the gym too then i went and broke my knee cap spent 6 weeks in a brace 24/7 ehich was ... interesting with an active toddler lol so no gym yet i have to wait for physio to clear me for the more active stuff like running !
Fave Biscuit: chocolate Version: orange Kit Kat. Otherwise Fox’s Jam n Creams 😁
JAM AND CREAMS??? I’ve not tried these. I’m going to taste test x
The beach footage 😭😭😭 absolutely precious. Joey is honestly the most gorgeous little boy. Love your wee family vlogs 🤍✨
Also thanks so much for being so open about all of your emotions and going back to therapy. It’s made me realise I definitely do need to try counselling again. I resonate with a lot of what you’ve said (I do a lot of the time on your insta as well). I wish you all the very very best with therapy. You’re such an emotionally intelligent, articulate person. X
Thank you so much, Laura! Really glad you’re enjoying the vlogs 🤍. My friend tells me everyone should have therapy so trying not to see it as a negative but in fact just a case of self care xxx
Chocolate hobnobs!
Great shout! 🥰

Crying while watching this after hearing my friends news
I never iron 😅 we have a steamer so use that as and when is needed! Xx
It’s so so hard.. and the fact that you don’t really know what to do, what’s best, all the contradictory advice, the fear that your child is not getting enough nutrition.. as a first time mum it’s just crazy hard. We struggled with feeding for months as well, and the first weeks were mental, the feeding issues really made those early days so stressful and I honestly don’t know why I pushed forward. The chiropractor info is really useful, if I’m lucky enough to have another I will definitely go do a chiropractor/osteopath from the get-go. Breastfeeding seems like a huge thing after you give birth and in the first few months but after a few years no one cares anymore.
