Hi, If you purchased the product after April 2022, it is supported. Because after that date the chip has been replaced.

I just want to mention that this doesn't work anymore, we bought exactly the same car radio, and the "car settings" menu is not there. We asked the seller's customer support and they send us this video, that doesn't help at all. EDIT: In the newer model, you can find the settings in: - Menu - Apps - Settings - Car Settings - Factory Settings - PIN: 0000 - OK - CAN-Settings If your car is a new VW Polo you need to select the CAN-Bus Type "0x09_DasAuto_GOLF7...", because the Golf is very similar to the Polo, and the Polo isn't in that list.
The same for me. They sent me this link, but after accessing the menu some settings are not self-explicable. Therefore i wanted to have some sort of guide, which change of setting changes what in terms of functionalty, etc. But unfortunately i didn't receive any other answer than this link...
how can I connect apple carplay wirelessly
Don not buy this rubbish. Its slow, sluggish and radiostation constantly disturbed. Radiostations cannot be saved which means, everytime you start the car, all your favourite stations are gone. Sound is pour and manytimes it goes to max on it’s own. Radio often starts and shuts off by it’s own.
Its slow because of the 2gb ram.. i also have this unit but do not have the problems that you got! mine saves the radio stations without problems, also the sound is very well. So not sure whats going on with your unit. I must say i only use android auto thats why i bought it, and with android auto its very fast because it takes most of the performance from the phone :) The only thing i dont like from avison company is that they dont give u any updates for the firmware if u ask them for it. so this is the main reason i never buy from them again !!

Does this Radio Support the CAN Features from the VW Golf 6 Like. Displaying the PDC or the Settings from the Seat Heating. Would be great to know. Because there are almost no radios Out that Support Apple Car Play and CAN Bus Features
Hi Jascha, The radio has CANBUS support. Thanks to the CANBUS support, the mentioned functions will continue to work. The steering wheel controls, PDC also continue to work :-)

Any tips on the equalizer? My sound quality is very bad, sounds people are singing in the bathroom, can't get it fixed properly. Thanks!
Interesting, I was curious about this as well. What happens when you push the, 'tone' button on the display? How many bands are in the equalizer there? (id be disappointed if it were only a simple, 'low/med/high' interface rather than what other car radios have)

...that being said, if the sound quality is bad then the EQ won't help that much 😅 do you experience bad sound quality via all sources?
Erik! I've bought one and spent considerable time getting the sound quality up to par. What's helped was shutting off some of the 'extras' (like the 'loudness' and 'bass boost' things.) Also, in my case at least, the slider for 128hz is way too high. I've turned that down to -8 and it sounds miles better. If you want more details on it, let me know and I'm happy to show each setting I have.

Recently purchased one: initial startup time is 30 seconds. There is an option in the interface to set the sleep-time to different settings (this way it doesn't take 30 seconds every time you start the car, thankfully)

Bought it five days ago and got the same problem. Thought it could be the cable. Denis from consumer service told me, this has never happened before. He offered me to buy a new cable für 25 bucks. Wired!
