Thought I got a Call at the start 😅
fantastic video! It's great to see the other side of the coin with other RFS members helping out our fellow supporters overseas 👍.
SPOILED A NICE VIDEO WITH MUSIC.
shush 🙏
Nice rig.
Big fucking deal! Big fucking deal! Tough shit that you can’t take care of your fucking emergency services personnel but you’ve got time and money to make this bullshit!
They made an educational video on how to properly and safely burn, so you dont lose your shit to fire, grow up.
get a permit to get a permit to get a permit etc etc.
Thank you for posting this. Very informative. Stay safe.
This is really educational and informative, that wilderness is stunningly beautiful. It's fascinating to see how other countries fight fires in their unique ecosystems. I'd take a snake over a bear any day tho lol
Good on you helping Aus through these tough times😁😁😁😀😀
Good stuff, hope to be able to do this one day
Good stuff
I see you dont carry a portable pump 65mm for drafting from a water source where trucks can not access

I've been in one of them at the easter show, pretty cool.
They’re very nice inside
Many people agree with me that there should be a revision on the lockers so you can store the chainsaw without taking the bar off.. That cab spray ain't going to last long especially if you've already used some of your water, it takes some time even for people who use them regularly on their farm to get that bar put back on and the chain tensioned correctly.. Food for thought..
Agreed. tensioning takes a few seconds, its the 3 handed job of getting chain and bar on, loosing nuts under pressure.
Or maybe not... th-cam.com/users/shorts3lujBOQlB7k

Would be cool if you guys ever get around to doing a video on Brooklyn Pumper and being able to compare some of the differences based on their different local needs like the M1
It would be better if all the front facing warning lights were synchonised. See for example: th-cam.com/video/YFudatRHZFo/w-d-xo.html
It would help if you didn't use abbreviations all the time, but explained them. What is a '9'? for example, or a GRN radio?
Category 9 Tanker (I think... I'm CFA), Government Radio Network
A 9 is a Light Tanker, for brush and small road firefighting. 7 and 1 are Medium and Heavy tankers.
Very cool of us helping our community's. Question, I thought that Engineering units aint allowed to go out I though they were just for show?
Can you give us a look through the first aid kits on your LT’s
There is one first aid kit for all appliances, not very big but will do you the basics.. Honestly not much to show. All trucks carry an AED too.
Question. Why are the majority of hoses located on the secondary side of the vehicle ??
Idk I forgot
Looks great. Can you show us some more units?
what a overun means if your in a spot where u can retreat from the fire ground safely then you must activate your burn over procedure which means you get fire blankets get rid of fuel put hose under the appliance aiming at the diff and call on the radio code red turns on siren to notify other appliances in your area to come and find you when the burn over procedure is complete

You lucky buggers.... All we are offered now is bloody Ford Danger-Rangers that don't even carry half your kit.
CFS?
@@safire7384 nah, probably a American firefighting group
Let me guess - Queensland RFS? The Danger Rangers are simply weed spraying units , not fire fighting appliances but QFES won't listen
@@billwalters7520 Yup, QFES who call the shots for RFS. Rough figures, RFS covers 95% of the state while only getting 5% of the budget, rest ends up in red trucks and dead-wood sallarlies.
Good stuff!
Thank you for taking these videos for us, a great day was had by all
This is good for the children who love the rfs
Hey there, love the vlogs when are you going to do a vlog on boats?
Very soon!
Yay a new vlog! Been so keen for another one considering I’m just about to complete my BF. Love your videos guys they’re so well put together and packed with info
Coming from Vic, I thought RFS in the Greater Sydney Area only provided grass and scrub firefighting, as Fire & Rescue still operate in these areas. Can anyone provide some insight on this? Cheers
Christian, in NSW some areas are shared with FRNSW and so some RFS brigades are equipped for structural fire fighting as well as bush
Well pretty much some areas are in Bush and city type of things so they need both companies to do what they can do best but if you go look out in the west type of area in New South Wales you’ll see a lot of rule fire service and then fire and rescue in the same area
Its the same as Victoria where CFA does urban stuff on the fringes of Melbourne
Rfs are pretty much just back up and support for fire rescue at structure fires
Can't burn cardboard...from what I've seen.. everybody start their fire from newspapers and cardboard
Yep
Nice work all around everyone.
I really love your videos. Please keep making more
Sweet truck, much nicer than the older ones in my brigade that’s for sure! Please keep uploading videos, it’s great content! 👍🏻
