Hahaha, yes im surprised I didn’t see any drunk people on this trip. I missed the famous Caesar palace buffet too, but tbh the local Mexican food was much better compared to those popular tourist spots. Thanks for your kind words, it was a memorable trip! Hey, how was your hk/macau trip? Did u manage to visit the restaurants I recommended? Haha yes I didn’t plan well, but I had a great time just exploring blindly with no agenda. I’m more of a hip hop fan actually…can’t remember when was the last music festival I attended 😅 Yes trump tower was nice, but I heard there was a bombing or some accident outside the hotel the following week. It’s scary nowadays with all the recent incidents in NY. Please stay safe and take care !

@@Yumiintokyo Yes, I enjoyed the HK and Macau trip. I went to Yung Kee restaurant. Although the reservation system was a mess during the New Year holiday rush, somehow managed to secure a table. The Crispy Roasted Pigeon was amazing, and their signature goose didn't disappoint. The pan-fried king-size dried oysters were a luxurious treat. But miss the dim sum, out of stock that time. The bakehouse - the egg tarts will fly off the shelves. It was so good, but my luck was bad on the last day I didn't get this one, The preordering option was not available on the New Year holidays. The Kam Wah Cafe & Cake Shop was also good. On the flip side, it's the end of the year, which means bustling crowds and the occasional language barrier. The translator was not worked properly. Haha

@@Yumiintokyo Everything has been well, thanks for asking 😁I took a week or two break off YT to focus on work but now I have a week break to catch up on some videos. I love the holidays! All the lights, shopping, events, etc. I'm sad to see it go. I would love to visit Japan in the next 5 years. Even country hopping in East Asia for a few weeks. If you feel like you can thrive here, go for it! You're young(even if you weren't) and it's important to create the life you want to live instead of just going through the motions. I have to remind myself of that everyday♥

I mentioned some places in the previous vlog, so don't forget to check those out. Although I missed a few when I was there, I’m definitely going to visit them next time.

@san.d_ I recommend bakehouse HK if you have the time - I love their egg tarts! 😋 I actually couldn’t find your comments in my previous vlog 🥺 I went to Vegas and watched some shows and the NBA games! It is quite difficult for foreign lawyers to find a job here in Japan if you don’t speak the language or have sufficient level of experience. You can try seeking transfer from your current firm (if they have an office in Japan) or engage with an experienced recruiter in Japan for the job search. I personally think the easiest route would graduating from a Japanese law school and pass the Japanese bar exam.

Your routine sounds very discipline, I tried waking up earlier but I’m always snoozing lol. New year resolution is to squeeze in a work out session and cut down on caffeine 😅

@@Yumiintokyo hiii! im so honoured that you replied aaaaaa im currently living in london, bc i'm doing my masters in publishing! back in brazil (where i'm from), i used to go to the gym at that hour bc i worked from home, so i had a lot of time to spare without the need to commute and all that. but but your routine is too packed already, so i think cutting down (a bit of) caffeine could be the easiest way, or try melatonin - my sister takes it as a gummy and sleeps pretty well. tbh since i got here (and the fact im a student again, and now unemployed), i go to the gym around 9AM, and i'm sleeping later (around 1AM)... my new year resolution is to get back on track at 6AM 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Hi, the top Japanese law schools have global reputation standards. However I’m studying U.S. law due to work, hence I can’t say much about the Japanese law here. Are u planning to study law in Japan?

@Yumiintokyo but before i will apply for japanese language training before starting my major that's why I asked if japan was a good place to pursue that major

@angelicutie2382 native language fluency is necessary to study Japanese law, and the admission rate to enter the top schools here are set relatively high. Tbh, a year of language school training might not be enough, however if u already have prior Japanese fluency then it might be much easier. Also it depends if u are interested to practice law in Japan in the future. If not, civil law or common law jurisdictions might be a better consideration as u will have more opportunities in the future

Thank you for your advice! I was initially planning to pursue corporate law, but after your suggestion, I’m now considering the different types of legal systems. I think I’ll focus on improving my Japanese fluency first and look into law programs that align with my future career goals, whether in Japan or elsewhere. I appreciate your insight!

I think client meetings can be tiring especially for introverts like me haha. Yes ure right, it’s mostly serious discussion for the first half and the rest is building the relationship 😄 Regarding your question on the Japanese subways, I haven’t actually encounter the crazy packed train rides because I prefer buses. It does get packed but sardine pack like those viral videos, I’m really glad that I don’t have to go through that haha

Yes girl, it was a lucky week for me too. It’s quick rare for me to leave before 6pm. Had to make use of the free time to finish all my to-do tasks and just relax. I’m truly happy that my videos are able to bring positivities in your life, and hopefully for many others too. There are times when i was so overwhelmed and felt depressed, i hope you take gd care of your mental health.
