Got a couple fun unboxings from it, looking forward to some new things in the New Year too. Could go for a comic book sale, been a quiet winter for those. Might hit a mall sale in a couple weeks and the next Milwaukee Con isn't until the end of February. Hope we all have a great year for once, Happy New Year!

It was a great trailer and it has been nice seeing the positive response for it, picked up some older Krypto comic covers today because of it. I have been done with Superman for a long time but Superman Space Age comic run by Allred brought me back to enjoying the character again and this trailer made me feel that way too.

I have no idea what that means, never seen it before.

I tried to check out whatnot more but like you said it would just be more shopping I don't need to be doing either. Got the rest of my Zen out, gonna go thru them on one of the next live shows in the New Year. Men in Black comics that I seen were fun, I am a sucker for all that sci-fi stuff. I will always enjoy spawn, just get a little whiney when I can't get into the storyline anymore. Have a great rest of the year! They were great titles and well worth jumping on them even though I do push more independent titles especially during the Holiday seasons but DC and Marvel usually have fun holiday titles that have been a lot of fun. Gotta grab those Beetle Bailey comics, always enjoyable. Thanks!

Great to hear from you, was just telling the wife I haven't seen any activity online from you in awhile even on Higgy's channel 😆 I would of loved more character development or knowledge but still a fun set of comics, just gonna have to read some other stuff to find out about the characters abilities. Hope you have a good Holiday Season and don't overwork yourself. The wife and I hid at home and I thawed out some leftover turkey I made a couple months back, we just enjoyed the couple hour break and let the other siblings take ma and celebrate. Probably do the same at Christmas since it is one of the only ways to get a couple hours to ourselves. Take care and have a great rest of the day! I didn't mean for you to cover the shipping, I must of explained it wrong. If you add a $1 and limit purchase amount to cover shipping then in the long run you actually make money on the people buying 20 to 30 plus comics and some buy more when shipping is listed as free but easily added to the price without thinking about it. Like when your showing a comic that is $5.99 cover price and you ask $2 for it I would be surprised if it didn't sell just as easily for $3 especially when the buyer isn't thinking about shipping that may get tacked on later. Was just a thought to help you sell more and in the long run probably profit more. Otherwise yes I liked the comics and look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

Yes those are 2 different covers from the new comic, the older one from last year was the Lost in time comic and I did a review of it at: th-cam.com/video/Obz8ztCZRz4/w-d-xo.html I am pretty sure we also reviewed it on a episode of Crimson Cowl Comic Club podcast when it came out last year since our friend Art Baltazar did work in it. There is also the hard to find DC Comics Svengoolie crossover but I haven't found that one for my collection yet at a reasonable price.

I think I figured out what happened. Dan DiDio partnered with comic book icon Frank Miller to start a new comic company called Frank Miller Presents (FMP). They wanted to put out comics and not just graphic novels. The big selling points were Frank Miller and the fact that Miller would write a limited-series sequel to his successful series Ronin, a Sin City limited series that he would also draw, and a Sin City one-shot with iconic artist Milo Manara. Also, Miller had an idea called Pandora, and he'd work with writers and an artist to put it out. DiDio would write his own comic called Ancient Enemies, and, because he was a huge fan of Svengoolie and wrote the DC crossover, he recruited Rich Koz to put out a two Svengoolie specials. The first is Lost in Time. Sadly, FMP failed, so they stopped updating the Web site and put out the last few issues of Ronin II. I can't find any announcements of the company shutting down, but it is clear that they did. After, Frank Miler made a deal with publisher Abrams Books to put out his projects from FMP as graphic novels. Currently Abrams put out the graphic novels of the works Miller did at FMP. They put out a collection of Ronin II as Ronin Rising. They are selling it as a Hard Cover collectors edition with extras, a trade paperback, and a small manga sized version. They also put the collection of Pandora called Pandora Book 1, so there may be other Pandora graphic novels in the future. DiDo had finished the first story arc of Ancient Enemies. He wrote me that he currently has no plans to put it out as a graphic novel though he may in the future. That leaves us with Svengooglie. FMP only put out one of the two specials. The second special was in need of a publisher, so the company that owns Svengoolie, MeTV, published it as Svengoolie 45th Anniversary Boo-nanza. I'm not sure if it continues the unifying narrative arc that brings the stories together in the first issue because I ordered both issues of Svengooglie but haven't received both issues yet.

@@josephcamhi5676 that is very interesting and explains why the two books were so different not only in storylines and artwork but also the product, both comics are so different in materials that they just don't feel and look like they should be together. I still enjoy them but would of been nice if they could of used the same companies or just made the books separate from each other. Thanks for letting me know that! @@underthecowlofms Actually, I just looked at the FMP Web site, and I don't think they meant Lost in Time to be two issues. I think they planned on putting out two specials, and so that is what they did , but the second one was put out by a MeTV since FMP went out of business, which explains the difference in the quality of the paper they used. Dan DiDio edited both specials. On the FMP site, it explains Lost in Time as the first of two specials, not the first of two issues. Therefore, I'm guessing the only thing the new publisher changed was the quality of the paper.

@@josephcamhi5676 that makes sense and better to not connect the two. MeTV is the TV station that plays Svengoolie and from buying other stuff through them I can understand them not knowing the differences between page and cover stocks out there. All great books in their own light!

I always picked up a couple comics on our vacations too, for me it was the 70's so mainly Archie, Scoobie, Casper. Been having good luck finding lots of Sad Sack and Beetle Bailey comics on $1 and $2 claim sales the past year, gonna try to build both collections the best I can. They are great re-reads, thanks!

That doesn't surprise me with Ebay, I did think about getting a second one. Sven stuff sells out so fast when limited, I been getting all covers of the comic books that came out and some doubles since the first comic he did is hard to find and still up there in price. Thanks for checking the video out, I also did a glow in the dark Svengoolie unpacking not long ago.

Rob has been showing a bunch of them on the Saturday $2 claim sale, I been picking up a few of the earlier ones and any special and holiday ones but there have been lots of others. Plan to do the Beetle reading this week, I can't wait to see the continuation of the Beetle-Thing!

It always surprises me when I do remember them all but when I don't I go blank pretty hard and wish I would of glanced over all them before doing the video. Wasn't sure about Garfield with the new artwork and still haven't watched the movie, maybe this week. Glad I did get the run, they did it well! This was a fun October, since I didn't get a chance to do my yearly costume changes on Crimson Cowl it worked out nice this way just didn't get a costume a day but close. Dang I wish I could narrow my pull list down more, trying but new indies keep popping up that catch the eye. Thanks for the review and take it easy!

I am an Eddie fan, looking forward to the movie. The wife and I liked the first two, don't care what others say I know we will like this one also. The whole King in Black stuff and those periods were a good comparison with the Alien movies, I prefer the older stuff myself. 5 bottles sitting on the shelf, hopefully I don't end up posting a drunken naked Halloween video trying on all my masks 😦😧😨🤣

I just wanted to check out the new Ebay live sales and his auction had the Captain Carrot pop up just after I got on and figured since I got it for $2 I might be able to find more and I am glad I stuck it out. The $5 flat rate shipping is what sold me on his auction but others didn't look great and some titles were going for way more that I would pay. Love that I found a couple Li'l Jinx this year, I never come across those anymore either. Thanks

I should have some other ones in my collection from Amazing Comics, I feel like I have seen similar parody style comics that felt like this did. Too bad there is only one other, don't think that will give the concept enough time to play out. It was hard to stay with the book after the first half. Sharks with Brains 🤣 Too many people watch Shark Week and think they are shark experts now, they need some better shows for that week and America's Dumbest People getting eaten by sharks would be fun! I wasn't going to watch Wonka but glad I did, Pierce is hilarious as a Oompa Loompa. The last few seasons of Archer they had the characters play other characters and some weird, my brain just might not of got what they were doing but the Christian Slater episodes were great. Sugar Flush is going good still but I forgot I can have Tequila it has no sugars but gonna wait until Halloween anyway. The wife was lucky enough to go back to Montana for a couple weeks, wish I could of went but I don't have no reliable backup to take care of Ma and the cat.
