Decent and solid EDC knife from Smith & Wesson. The flipper and thumb stud need a wrist action to deploy completely but this can get smoother over time. I'm very surprised by the action of this unbranded automatic OTF (out-the-front) knife. It came decently sharp and is not heavy to carry. How do your sharpen yourself mine refuses to keep an edge

How can you get it to spring open more smoothly, mine sticks like yours did in the video?
It can break in over time when using regularly. Otherwise, you can always try some quality lubrication to get it smoother. Another method is adjusting the pivot screw very gradually (I'm talking mm by mm) to try to find a more acceptable fluidity without creating any blade play.

why doesn't it has a pocket clip
The Russian Finka NKVD models were launched in the 1930's and they came with a leather sheath. The first knives with a pocket clip were made by Spyderco in 1981.

M390 or Elmax is the best for survival knives?
I would not focus on a specific blade steel for a survival knife but rather look at the reliability, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. M390 and Elmax are great but you will need proper tools to sharpen them.

My black G10 version is one of my least expensive knives. It's so well built I would pay $60 for this $21 knife. After 2 years of use it's obvious the knife is punching way above its weight in every way.
