@Tylerbag it's just an option to load or unload the sample for the stick click that you can do. But you might be onto something for their next release..that's a really cool idea, different sticks. 🤟

@feoul92 If you're using FL studio, it's at the top right near the "X" button for the plugin, or if you go to the file tab for the plugin, there should be something like "browse presets". If you're in another DAW, I'm not to sure. Thanks for watching!

You can certainly load VSTs into Patchwork, but Axiom includes the Re-Guitar, Late Replies, and Destructor all in one. Plus the built in tuner, and the crazy amount of effects, presets etc. make it more guitar/bass centric for sure. Just depends on you needs! Cheers.

Every hit is midi mappable, so I don't see why not! It would be like using 4 keys on a keyboard. Let me know if you try it out!

@@TredDrums I just went in there to test this, and it turns out the sample has to be loaded in, so I was wrong there. What you could do though, is use two instances of the plugin and unload all samples from the second one except the two different octos and still control it that way. Wanted to make sure I tested it though!

Essentially, the same concept! The difference is, this uses Kontakt. The other difference is, they don't come with grooves, or a browser like EZ drummer. With that said, I find the sounds a lot more mix ready, and the control you have on the mixer is pretty awesome.

@@Joshhammondmusic Well, I went down the rabbit hole Alice, and bought Axiom. I'm struggling to get the same creamy, saturated tones you get in spite of replicating your rig, as far as I can tell. I think it's the NAM captures I'm using. I'm getting freebies off ToneHunt and not at all happy with them. Do you purchase yours? If so, where and who do you recommend? Also, wanted to send a donation but can't find a PayPal or SuperThanks. This month is done but first of next month for sure. Thanks for your comment. Your point is well received. I Own the full version of Amp Locker, Tonex Max, Amplitube Max, and many others. I use NAMS quite a bit, and find them to be pretty awesome. We live in an exciting time, my friend!! With Axiom, I find that I can get the most out of my NAMs by loading the Neural Amp Modeler VST into it, and combining it with Axiom’s built in Re-Guitar, Late Replies, Effects, Dual tone capabilities (blending NAMS) etc. And while I can use Amplitube, and Amplocker to do some of this, I can't host 3rd party VST’s in those programs like my favorite limiters, IR modules (Zilla cabs etc.) or EQ’s. For me, Axiom is more than just a guitar and bass workstation. I run drums through it, Sidechain stuff to it purely for the effects, and sometimes just use Destructor for dynamics. It’s all what you make of it! Wishing you well on your tone journeys!

@@Joshhammondmusic if you can load NAM in tonocracy now its probably why they did it, amp locker has some ok sims, I own everything from audio assault, never thought I get them cause its a bit metal only type of stuff, but with NAM the pedals are better then tonocracy and IK multimedia, I am waiting for reviews about this soon from several great guitarists,.

@@mikehunt576 Hey Mike, I didn't have that amount of negativity towards Axiom, but I also felt I didn't need it. I have Neural's, S-Gear, GR5,6,7, TONEX, Tonocracy, etc, and didn't need another. However, after watching some videos, Joshs in particular, I realized Axiom is not JUST an amp modeler, it's an amazingly easy to use and full featured mini-DAW. Once I realized I had thought about Axiom all wrong, I was blown away by what it CAN do. But yeah, we live in THE BEST time to be a guitarist/musician. The power in all the amazingly affordable tools we have now is mind boggling. I came up in the 60's/70's where you HAD to go to a physical studio, track to a click, and rinse. lather. repeat. First demo I made with our band cost $300 in 1991. WE got FOUR SONGS out of it and 4 cassettes. For $250, with Axiom, I get a two track DAW that, "TO ME", is FAR easier to use than Reaper, Garage Band, Mainstage, etc. AND, now I can do my own tracking. Mind blown. That's completely different pieces of software. BTW we do have a free amp sim too, and you can actually load any amp sim inside Axiom if you wish!@@mikehunt576

You at least need Kontakt player to run it, which is a free program. But to sequence it, you would need some kind of DAW. It doesn't come with any groves loaded or anything.
