Japanese Inspired Garden in Spring with a selection of Japanese Maples and shrubs including exotic inspired planting.

Winter Garden, topiary and seed heads from miscanthus dominate along with Yuccas and Conifers, including Pinus Patula and Pinus Wallichiana and Palm trees suchTrachycarpus Fortunei,Chaemerops Humilus, Brahea Armata and Butia Odorata. I feel with the Snowdops now that Spring is on the way!

Garden Tour October 2023 short

Sculptures within my garden is in the North of England in the UK in a temperate garden. I make use of basic principles of garden design, creating focal points, planting in 3s and using form, shape, and structure with complementary planting.

This is my attempt at creating a stumpery using the natural forms and shapes of tree material to create edges and structure in the garden and softening it with planting. I have planted Japanese Maples, Dryopteris, Polystichum and Japanese painted ferns and used the chartreuse (yellow) colours of Aralia Cordata Sun King as a foil for the red Japanese Maples.

August architectural garden tour. The garden is in North of the UK and features a mix of perennials and shrubs focusing on japanese, Mediterranean and hardy exotics.
