I've been observing many protestants online in regards to their rhetoric about Mary. I genuinely am concerned, and I think your salvation is at risk because youve been influenced by dangerous doctrine. Accept this message in the way it was intended, with love and concern. #catholic #protestant #mothermary #mary #lutheran #catholicmass

@@vitoandolini0757 Matthew 6:7 talks of VAIN repition, in public to be seen or without heart, if Jesus didn't want us to recite prayer. He wouldn't have given us the Lord's prayer. He also repeats prayer in the garden of gethsemane. Iconography is also very different to idolatry, if that be applicable. Then you shouldn't look at pictures of relatives. Catholics agree we all fall short of the glory of God 👍
@leorising11 yes, vain repetition like rosario prayer. The Lord's prayer never repetition. So stop ur lies, it's getting old.
@vitoandolini0757 Matthew 26:44 repetition of prayer, reciting of hymns etc exist in many examples of the Bible. What you're alluding to is about the vanity and performative nature that the Pharasees exhibited.
@leorising11 wrong. After Jesus pray, he went to see his deciples n then pray again. Different than rosario prayer just like mantra. All catholic play dumb to defend ur cult. Do u think Jesus wrong when he says in Matthew 6:7?
@@vitoandolini0757 it's not wrong it literally states he prays the same words 3 times. And of course I recognise Matthew 6.7, the added context of the rest of the Gospel is imperative to understand the intent. No one is playing dumb, I study the gospels. We obviously just have drawn very different conclusions, I trust 1600 years of apostolic church fathers in the wisdom above faceless people calling me a liar. No one is forcing you to pray the way we do.
No, friend, I'm sorry but you are mistaken: the "hail Mary" prayer is not found in Scripture. The first half of the prayer is the greetings you refer to, but the greeting were never made as _a prayer to Mary._ They were just greetings. The latter half of the "hail Mary" ("Holy Mary, Mother of God...") is completely unScriptural: you won't find it anywhere in the Bible. You won't find _prayer to Mary_ anywhere in the Bible. You don't know how frustrating it is to hear Catholics regurgitate this falsehood, which they have been brainwashed into believing by hearing it so often repeated. (For reference, I am a former cradle Catholic btw, and a well catechized one at that.) Let me say right now that I'm not trying to denigrate Mary. I am only criticizing false teachings propagated by the Roman Catholic Church. At 2:13 you claim, "We don't" pray to Mary. Now you need to go to confession and confess your lie! 🙃 CCC 2676 begins, "This twofold movement of _prayer to Mary..."_ CCC 2679 says, "When we pray to _her"_ (referring to Mary). Surely every Catholic knows that he objectively prays to Mary when he recites the "Hail Mary." So I am wondering: what motivates a Roman Catholic to tell lies in an attempt to gloss over an objectionable truth about his Catholic religion? You mention the Ark of the old covenant and what it held. But today, where is that Ark? Is it still venerated? No, it isn't. Mary might have been the Ark of the new covenant when she bore the Incarnate Son of God, but does it still hold Him? No. Mary the "new Ark" is empty. Her unique role as God-Bearer (the correct translation of the Greek 'Theotokos') was finished before Christ rose from the tomb (at the latest), and after Pentecost her role in the church becomes nil. After Pentecost, Mary is never mentioned again. In all the letters which the Apostles wrote to teach the churches the important matters of their faith, all we hear about Mary is... crickets! Jesus, on the cross, arranged for John to take care of & provide for Mary. Claiming that this act makes Mary "the mother of us all" takes quite an amazing stretch of the imagination. A greater non-sequitur than that is difficult for me to think of! But I understand how deeply you want to believe all of this. I think you're working on convincing yourself as much as anybody. Catholics always wave away Jesus "brothers," but it's much more difficult to dispense with the existence of Jesus' _sisters._ Mark 6:3 "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? _And are not his sisters_ here with us?” Here is the problem: The Apostolic "faith once delivered to the saints" (Jude 1:3) does not teach praying to Mary, Marian hyperdulia, or any of that After Pentecost, Mary was basically _ignored_ because she was just another believer saved by grace. But the Catholic Church trains their laity to pay great attention to Mary, to the point of distraction from _the star of Christianity, Jesus Christ._ I can prove this to you from the Catechism. Without thinking too hard, how would you answer the following questions: 1. Who is the All-Holy One? 2. Who is the Mediator between God and man? 3. Who is our Advocate with God? 4. Who is the model and source of the Christian religion? 5. Into whose care should we entrust our souls? In genuine Christianity, the answer to each of these questions is "Jesus." But the Catholic Catechism teaches a different answer: Mary! This should shock and outrage any true Christian, but it won't outrage very many Catholics, and that right there tells us everything we need to know about the Roman Catholic religious system. Here's the evidence: - Mary is "the All-Holy One" (CCC 2677... shouldn't the All-Holy One be God?) - one should surrender oneself at death wholly to Mary's care (rather than Jesus' care? CCC 2677) - Mary brings us the gifts of eternal salvation (not Jesus or the Holy Spirit? CCC 969) - Mary deserves such titles as "Advocate," "Helper," and "Mediatrix" (CCC 969...titles which the Bible attributes to God) - devotion to Mary is _essential_ to Christian worship (CCC 971. Why is she intrinsic to Christian worship?) - Mary is the “model and source” of the Roman Catholic religion (CCC 2030) Can you see why non-Catholics feel concerned that Mary is being pretty much _deified_ in the Catholic Church?
I will respond to this with a video tomorrow. I understand and appreciate your contention, I agree with some of it. I will also answer all those questions with the answer 'Jesus' and discuss the cathecism. 👍 Asking these kinds of questions is fine, you've been polite (ish) 😂 so I'll grant you a response when I get home from work. Don't delete your comment.

Any thoughts on Ethiopian Bible?
@@paulinesmith706 yeah so the Ethiopian bible is one of the earliest. I believe it has 80 odd books. It contains things like Enoch, which whilst recognised in judes epistle wasn't cannonised officially by later councils because of authorship and discrepancies. I've never read a copy nor own one. They have extra books of Macabees I think and something called jubilee. But I haven't read them so I won't voice an opinion on it. I don't know how easy they are to come by. I will task myself to read it one day.
Excellent explanation. Thank you brother. Praise Jesus.
With regard to Mary, as the mother of a Davidic king, she has a particular role as intercessor. She is the Gebirah, and recognizing her position is Biblical. "The Gebirah, the Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Judah, was the most important and influential woman in the royal court and the king's chief counselor. The Hebrew word, gebirah, is found fifteen times in the Old Testament [Genesis 16:4, 8, 9 (used for Sarah, wife of Abraham); 1 Kings 11:19 (used for the Egyptian Queen Mother); 15:13; 2 Kings 5:3; 10:13; 2 Chronicles 15:16; Psalm 123:2; Proverbs 30:23; Isaiah 24:2; 47:5, 7; Jeremiah 13:18; 29:2]. In Sacred Scripture the mother of the Davidic king is listed along with her son in the books of 1 &2 Kings and 1 & 2 Chronicles when he assumes the throne. The only queen mothers not listed are those of King Jehoram, who married wicked Athaliah, daughter of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel of Israel [2 Kings 8:17-18], King Ahaz [2 Kings 16:2-3], and King Asa [1 Kings 15:10]. In the case of Jehoram and Ahaz, their mothers may have died prior to their sons assuming the throne of David, and in the case of Asa, his grandmother is named as the Gebirah, his mother having died or perhaps his grandmother, the former Gebirah, did not relinquish her power and authority upon the succession of her grandson. Some Biblical passages which refer to the office of the Gebirah [all passages are quoted from the New Jerusalem Bible translation]: 1 Kings 11:19: [In this passage the Hebrew title is used for an Egyptian queen mother: Hadad became a great favorite of Pharaoh who gave him his own wife's sister in marriage, the sister of the Great Lady (Gebirah) Taphenes. [Note: Taphenes is not a proper name but is an Egyptian title meaning "king's wife" which was used to designate the Queen mother. Since Israelites reading the text might not understand the meaning of the Egyptian title, the inspired writer used the title for the Davidic Queen mother, Gebirah. 1 Kings 15:13: He even deprived his grandmother Maacah of the dignity of Great Lady [Gebirah] for having made an obscenity for Asherah... 2 Kings 10:13: he met the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah. 'Who are you?' he asked. 'We are Ahaziah's brothers,' they replied, 'and we are on our way to pay our respects to the king's sons and the queen mother's (Gebirah) sons.' 2 Chronicles 15:16: King Asa even deprived his (grand) mother Maacah of the dignity of Great Lady (Gebirah) for having made an obscenity for Asherah.. Jeremiah 13:18: Tell the king and the Queen mother (Gebirah), 'Sit in a lower place, since your glorious crown has fallen from your head. Jeremiah 29:2: This was after King Jechoniah had left Jerusalem with the Queen mother (Gebirah), the eunuchs, the chief men of Judah and Jerusalem, and the blacksmiths and metalworkers. Jesus Christ is the heir of King David, He is the fulfillment of the covenant promises made to David in 2 Samuel 7:16; 23:5, and repeated to Mary in Luke 1:26-36 [see the chart comparing the promises to David and Mary in the Chart section on the New Testament/ Mary]. Mary's son rules from the Kingdom of the heavenly Jerusalem. It is fitting that His mother should enjoy the same role that other Davidic Queen mothers enjoyed, that is the royal office of the heavenly Gebirah." (Agape Bible Study "The Blessed Virgin Mary: Queen Mother of the New Davidic Kingdom")
That's incredibly concise thank you, I appreciate your comment and input with references.
After Jesus was resurrected, he said, " I am ascending to My God " 👇 JOHN 20:17 . . . “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to MY GOD and your God.’ ” How could Jesus possibly be God, when he has a God ?

Did you know that the roof in church is shaped on the ark ! Therefore when we enter church we have the ark covering us 🙏🏻💯
The Trinity is said to be a mystery beyond human reasoning, impossible for us to understand or explain. It is the biggest obstacle to becoming a Christian and knowing God, is understanding the Trinity. Yet, the Trinity is simple and very easy to understand, if you know one thing. Jesus said; “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me. 17 If anyone desires to do His will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or I speak of my own originality. 18 Whoever speaks of his own originality is seeking his own glory; . . .” (John 7:16-18) How can it not be from Jesus, if he is part of a Trinity? Jesus’ authority to forgive sins was given to him by God. “However, in order for you to know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins-” then he said to the paralytic: “Get up, pick up your stretcher, and go to your home.” And he got up and went to his home. When the crowds saw this, they were struck with fear, and they glorified God, who gave such authority to men.” (Matthew 9:6-8) Did Jesus Deny Being God in Mark 10:18? Yes, he did. ““Why do you call me good? Nobody is good except one, God.” (Mark 10:18) Jesus was referring to what the OT stated, “For you, O Jehovah, are good . . .” (Psalm 86:5) Jesus states that his Father is his God, Jesus worships his Father as God. “Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.’”” (John 20:17) You don’t worship someone you are equal to, nor do you worship yourself. If this was true, then why does the Father never worship or pray to Jesus? The Father has authority over Jesus just as a husband has authority over his wife. “But I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God.” (1 Corinthians 11:3) If you have a head or boss, you are not equal to them. How does this work with Jesus? Jesus will subject himself to his Father. “But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.” (1 Corinthians 15:28) If you subject yourself to someone’s authority, you are not equal in authority to them. How can two members of the Trinity have different levels of authority, while the third member, the Holy Spirit seems to have none and is never even pictured as having a body? Can Jesus be both God and the mediatory between God and men? “. . .For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all-. . .” (1 Timothy 2:5, 6) “. . .Now there is no mediator when just one person is involved, but God is only one.” (Galatians 3:20) Why did Paul write both verses? Why did he not explain it in light of the Trinity? These are very complex questions with a very simple answer that is so obvious once you know it. This answer is staring you in the face it is so simple. Just think about it, what did a Jew have to accept and believe to become a Christian? It was only one thing. “Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins,. . .” (Acts 2:38) “. . .God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you executed on a stake.”” (Acts 2:36) All a Jew had to do was accept Jesus as the promised messiah. The word ‘messiah’ means anointed, as in anointed to become king. The Jews just had to accept Jesus as the king in the kingdom promised by God. They did not have to learn about or believe in the Trinity. Which is why Jesus never gave a sermon on the Trinity, why he never even mentioned it or explained it. No one in the Bible ever does. The Trinity is an impossible mystery until you unlock the secret of it, that makes it very easy to understand, the Trinity is a lie. It is a false doctrine. That is why it is not in the Bible. Why would the Bible explain something that doesn’t exist? Once you understand this simple solution to the mystery of the Trinity, it is like the scales falling from Paul’s eyes after he accepted Jesus as the promised messiah. With this understanding, it makes understanding God and scripture so much clearer and easier. Suddenly it is like you can see for the first time and everything makes sense when unsolvable mysteries beyond human understanding suddenly pop like a soap bubble and you wonder why you didn’t see it sooner.

Watch "The Message" this is a film of the life of the prophet. You can find it on TH-cam and its an absolutely amazing film. Your depiction of jesus is entirely wrong he's from the middle east, olive skin, brown or black hair and brown eyes. He was not white with blue eyes oh and of course there is the elephant in the room that his name wasn't and isn't jesus. And just to touch on your "age" point. There are Biblical narrations of marriage happening to a female at the age of 3 (Rebecca married Issac, she was 3) 😂.... that's not the only child marriage in your "faith". There is your real answer. Also Jesus spoke Aramaic and he referred to God as Elahi, The Aramaic word Elahi (אֱלָהִי) means "My God". It can also be used as a masculine name of Arabic origin that means "divine" or "My God (Allah)". In Islam, it is often used as a title for God. Educate yourself before you speak on things you have zero knowledge on or understanding of I think. Allah is the ancient name of God in the Semitic languages it literally means the god clearing unequivocally the confusion about God.
You can't glorify Saville actions...
In the Bible Issac married Rebecca and she was 3!!!!!! There are more child marriages in the fallible Bible.
Amen
What you have is not what Jesus said. You say that Jesus is God. You also say that Jesus is son of god. That means that God is son of himself.
The problem isn’t Jesus, the problem is you follow Paul….where before Paul did any of the disciples who walked with Jesus eat pork?
@@zak1r1 no no, the problem IS jesus, Islam doesn't believe he was crucified. Which was the whole point!!! Nor do they believe he IS god incarnate. Paul was welcomed by the apostles and by his revelation with christ on the road to Damascus was given the same apostolic authority. Because he proclaimed christ as Lord. Old covenants do not apply to gentiles, this is made clear in acts, James and corinthians. However, personally. I don't eat pork, many Christians don't. But it isn't particularly considered a sin.
@@zak1r1 jesus also broke sabbath. And changed many of the vain old Jewish traditions.
@@leorising11 if you remove Paul and everything he declared (even though he never “met” Jesus alive). Christianity would be a completely different religion eg no trinity. That’s why it’s not Jesus it’s firstly Paul. Then you can discuss what’s left.
@zak1r1 the concept of the trinity is in all of the gospels before Paul. Paul didn't radically change anything, he spread the word of the gospel. His writings are mainly letters to other churches telling them to stop idol worshipping. It really isn't controversial at all.
Flavius Jospheus from exactly 1930 years ago had confirmed his crucifixion. John the Baptist's execution was also confirmed in Antiquities of the Jews (Yochanan was implied to be associated with the Essene Sect).
