Fishing can be hard at first but once you start leveling up your fishing the catch bar will get bigger and be easier to catch, just wait till you get to the legendary fish to catch and especially the glacier fish. Even me who's put a lot of time into catching fish in this game absolutely hate catching that fish anytime I have to. It can take you hours to catch that thing.
