Nothing beats good Chocolate! A fantastic documentary by one of my favourite chefs/TV personalities…thanks a lot!
The most diverse substance in gastronomy, an infinite galaxy of taste and experience.
I've now got a 4 ton chocolate Christmas tree on my bucket list
I can only taste with my eyes, but I'm proud of him also!
Got nearly 3:00s in and I am ready to bail! Why? To “die for” chocolate is probably found in the birthplace of the bean: Africa. No, telling the lady she was “rounder” as a teen seems a bit rude for my liking. And lastly, you know, hearing the descriptions associated with chocolate, you can change the name of my race from your subscribed and incorrect title, Negro, which we are not, to our TRUE identifying title: le chocolat!!! Bisou Bisou!!😘😘! Indeed we are baby!!!👊🏾
Lovely cultural dance. I'm Ralyn Perol from Philippines my grandfather was half Italian and half Indian. Nice to meet you here.
46:40 so not Peru and not Colombia, lol. Totally not worth it...
good god ... i frikkin love chocolates ... and of course Michel Jr
The women at 47 min. must have a big bush... (smile)
Chocolate is great. we cant live with out it today. What is sad, its still harvested by slaves who hardly can survives. Those people even don't know what we do with the beans. Making millions with it. Keep them poor and no education does the job, like thousand years ago...
"CDs in the shape of chocolate"? 16:40
exelente baile grande Geancarlo Muro exitos en el futuro

Wonderful program. I believe there are some British and American companies that use pig fat in their chocolate - or is that ice cream?
can anybody give me a list of the music that was in this documentary?
In 2017 slave labour is still the main method of cultivating chocolate. You pay through the roof for a product that was cultivated by people who literally get paid pennies/day. Same goes for most of the coffee. We say we are opposed to slavery but the truth is, we really aren't.
Most people don't know these things. Ignorance is no excuse, naturally, but it explains a lot.
@@Khazandar OK. Here's another. Most of our goods are made in China and India by workers who get paid less than $10/day. Pretty much everyone knows that and yet, we continue to send our manufacturing to them. People are not ignorant; they are willing consumers who condone it.
Madame Roux is a captivating beauty.
His mother looks younger then his wife :)
came here for the title
My absolute favourite section starts at 46:00. Thoroughly enjoyed this program. Michel Roux Jr. is a great and truly engaging host. Thanks a lot.
If I was rich, I would definitely go there to get my customized box of chocolate.
He is a Legacy, without doubt!

Yeah go ahead....he was busted paying his kitchen workers below minimum wages.
i worked for him little over year, i wasnt there for money...
Absolutely, Mr King (a fitting name if ever there was one!); how dare these plebes ask for the priviledge of work be remunerated; why they should only see a dime if they are miserable! Loving your employ or admiring your employer should be compensation enough! That being said and all sarcasm aside, he sure is charismatic.
