Ian Anderson was THE GREATEST ROCK PERFORMER OF ALL TIME! Period. No one is REMOTELY CLOSE
Jeffrey smiles. 😊
Love the isolated tracks you feel the soul of the songs . A fan from the 70 s 😎
Wow,...seen some pics I hadn't seen before
Rock music with a flute? Tons of people think that's bizarre. But a xylophone? I love every moment of this epic production. Well done Ian. The people who know music know what a gift you've given us.
So nice to hear Ian's voice again when it was healthy and strong.
This is Queen & Country not Warchild
This is Aerosmith filty rock n roll
The starters gun
Those early flute rolls are phenomenal. All the textures and breath endurance.
Tull were amazing back in the day 🎉
Listening to we used to know wow I've just got to listen to the full band playing now.
Ian Anderson & Jethro Tull is a microcosm of all the music in the universe. I love it. What advanced planet did this guy come from?
The last great tull album!.
Nice find! This quite the treasure you have given us. Thank you!
I always liked to call aqualung jethro tulls "Angry album" and for a good reason as not only is the lyrical content at it's most sour and cynical but Ian also sings in a way he never sang before or after, his voice is a lot raspier and in general he just sounds pissed off in songs like 'My god' 'up to me' and 'cross eyed mary' Thank you for the video man, really cool to listen to the vocals isolated from it all
29:10 He’s fingerpicking! I’ve learned every note of his guitar and I’ve never heard that before. You can clearly hear him plucking block chords.
The best period for aerosmith. Back when they played guitar riffs and wrote songs around the riffs. Now they buy songs from outside writers.
What I love about these early live Aerosmith (73-74) are the extended songs/jams! The only other jam I heard on record was on "Lord of the Thighs" on Live Bootleg. LOVE these recordings! Thanks for posting!
❤❤❤❤
How do you get this isolated tracks?
Love Martin's playing also.....interesting, scary, chords choices
Greatest Ian!!
Ian the best! ❤❤❤
The best!! ❤❤❤
These isolated Ian vocals are a treat to listen to. I've just discovered them here and am listening to them all one by one. Thank you very much for posting them ... very much appreciated.
Thanks!
These isolated tracks are fascinating to see how they helped make the track that you've heard so many times, yet you can often hear things you never knew were there, then you listen to it as the complete track and you can hear the more subtler pieces highlighted here.
Que voz! Que voz! Meu Deus, é lindo demais 😭 não canso de dizer que Ian Anderson é o maior compositor da história moderna da música❤
When Ian started singing the powerful part of Minstrel In The Gallery it literally knocked me backwards.
I love hearing how Ian pronounces the lyrics with a very strong British - Scottish accent and I love the power in his voice. Beautiful pictures of the band too! Great video!
Wow, what a voice! Thank you for posting!
Sounds like Joe is using an EP3
Excuse me, instead of the vocal track that's already clear you could isolate the instrumental tracks or make instrumental versions of JT album
Unfortunately TH-cam blocks instrumental tracks. I can’t upload them
excellent post. super entertaining, thought I had seen all Tull clips.
This is one of my favorite albums and yet listening to these isolated voice tracks of Ian Anderson sounds like im hearing this for the first time again ,brings a greater appreciation for the music of tull. Thanks for making this video, without the equipment to do this there'd be no way of hearing the album like this!
I don't know if it was intentional, but Ian looked old even when he was young.
It's called being british
the last great Tull album.
I read in an IA interview somewhere that he had a heavy cold when doing the vocals for this album. That may explain a lot. 😎👍🏼
We all live on 🔥🔥🔥
Some nice ringtones right here.
i was there
Ian Anderson in his prime. His remarkable voice, underrated guitar playing and Celtic roots have resulted in some of the most inspiring acoustic music I’ve ever heard. Not to mention his excellent flute playing.
No video, but audio is great. How they achieved that is probably a secret well never know
Genius underrated vocals. Listen to the control of his voice so distinctive unlike any other. Ian's voice wasn't what is was in the70's but how about being grateful he plowed thru and continues to put out music uh let me check.... 50+ yrs later? c'mon. All the critiques of Ian's naturally tiring vocals should try singing a song in the shower themselves when they're in their 70's.
Tull was at the top of their game. What an album. Love this!! Ian’s Christmas Card is also outstanding. Of all classic rock artists, Ian was tops when it came to expressing his love of Christmas. I discovered JT on Christmas Day 1972. My older brother bought me Aqualung. No turning back from there! And I’ll forever thank him.
His vocals are off the charts. Like no one else, totally identifiable.
Goddamn this is an AMAZING audience tape from 1973, especially after you get past the person clapping out of time at the beginning of Write Me, lol
WTF is wrong with this guy?
He never got over your mom?
@@jimhardiman3836 When your life's sum total's made, and you set your wealth in goodly deed against the sins you've laid.
A great idea, those isolated tracks! Is there any chance to hear "Teacher" as Ian's isolated track? Especially the flute would interest me... Thanks, if...😉
