My friend got so lucky with this set way back in the day (when it first came out). He went and bought 5 packs from a Hallmark (they used to carry cards for whatever reason in our town), got the Luke Ultra Rare. Then his brother went to a card store (sep. location) and bought ONE pack, and got ANOTHER Luke Skywalker UR lol. My friend traded his brother for it (he had a LOT of cards) and then he traded it to me for an Emperor Palpatine that I had that I traded online for (think I traded an Executor and another big main). I really wanted the Luke to play lightside. I think my lightside collection was better at the time.

Just crack open the cases and resubmit lmao... PSA and the grading services are a joke at this point... it's a piece of cake to crack open their crap, pay them off, and get higher (or lower grades). Course Star Wars cards just aren't worth the ridiculous $40-50 they charge these days unless you pay for an annual sub lmao. Card grading is going to crash, and Gen AI is already starting to shut down these biased and pay to win services.

Both are good products but since I'm more into collecting Disney stuff, is a Lorcana win for me 😄 I love this Trove beacuse of that gorgeous box and the guide that it's included. Hope I can get one in the future ✨

I like the card sleeves that come with the Pokémon box as well as the fact that they add dividers and other useful things in there but lorcana won this round

Bought 100 bucks worth of Pokémon. Left holding about 5 bucks worth of cards. Bought 200 bucks worth of lorcana. Left holding around 400 bucks worth of cards

Comparisons are cool! Never seen these done. Lorcana wins hands down. Their commons are expensive just due to low supply

Lorcana cards sell for so much more than this Pokémon set and it’s now even close. Even commons are selling regularly for $3-4 on eBay. Don’t even get me started on how much those enchanted cards are going for lol sheesh

Lorcana Trove, less actual product value, no sleeves, no decent counters etc.. but card prices are just so crazy, its an easy win for Lorcana.
