Good review buddy...the only problem with the Sunnlife plastic cover thing over the lens and screen is that it has a bit of wiggle room causing the gimbal head to move around just enough to cause friction that's why you will notice some rubbing white dust left over after extensive use - I dipped it in a bowl with some hot water and soup over night then dried it out with a hairdryer which seems to have made the plastic less "flakey" but this problem is there there so just watch out as it can caused minor rubbing over time.

Wait so it's advertised to have 4 hours of shooting but the battery is 20% after an hour of shooting? That's discouraging... But thanks for making this video!

Do you get the weird flipping on screen when gimbal stops every time once you clip joystick 3 times or right sided bottom icon. Regardless activate or deactivate "Selfie Flip" mode ?

New subscriber here! Ever used a 3rd party battery for OA5? 😩 I can’t film in super night mode, but also the battery indicator shows charging instead of the battery percentage. I thought I asked that because I bought a similar design charging case that included 2 batteries.

What settings did you use? And what picture profile?

Great video. Through (pricey) trial and error, this is what I've settled on for protection of my Pocket 3. It's not for everyone, but if anyone else is watching and wants something fairly water resistant to hold this in when outdoors, the hyperlite mountain gear shoulder pouch fits this exact set up (ulanzi cage and sunnylife protector).

and yet, is Action or Osmo 3 better for family videos?

i love the pocket 3 but it's fragile-ness is always concerning, there are days when I'm hesitant to bring it with me and I just end up using my phone which defeats the purpose of ever getting one

Is there a specific reason why you changed from dji mic to hollyland mic on some parts of the video. Do you prefer one mic for indoors and the other one for outdoor voice recording?

Having made a lot of videos, I think the action camera is probably best for most people, especially with kids. I've gone through my share of action cams over the years. I'm happy with the Insta360 Ace Pro. I miss the front screen, but like the flip up option. I'm still getting used to the Pocket 3. Not as rugged as an action cam, but nice image. Six cameras but each has a purpose (I tell myself) 😅 How is the close focusing distance on this camera?

Very true that once you have kids, the world shrinks. But I think the ways you change the world also changes because, like you said, it will most likely be through small things, within and without the family, where the impact will happen. Btw, early Christmas tree 😆

As I make more and more videos, I'm finding that the ones I rewatch are my Japan videos because it shows my boys as 2 and infant ages. I think you have a great approach to making content. Make videos you can be proud of and enjoy doing. Growing on TH-cam for most is slow and steady with small bursts here and there. It's why I could never just do food or travel tips videos. I'd feel trapped. Keep it up. In ten years, you'll look back on these and be glad you did it. 🤙

Update: Disney has waived their right to settle in arbitration. We shall see how this plays out…

It's an interesting story. I think Disney will probably fight this until it affects their stock. We'll have to see how this plays out. $50K isn't much, but they will look bad either way at this point.

I should note that the restaurant is not owned/operated by Disney, but Disney is responsible for the menu and staffing.

I was just there a few days ago and it is so hot and crowded. The workers are having to work so hard to keep up. My cousin works at Disneyland, and he is ok with the workload, but you can see many others are not. I did feel bad for them. It's a large amount of fast-paced work in the heat. They should be treated better and given more money. I watched one man yelling at one of the cast members, and you could see she felt scared. Enjoy your trip, but maybe go up to some of the workers and thank them for all their hard work. It was a great vacation for me and my son, thanks to their hard work

Yes! I agree with you. I just went to Disneyland unplanned and if it weren't for the cast members it would have been a very different experience (for the worse).
