Your classroom is looking great!! From a fellow K teacher, just keep in mind that some of your alphabet cards don't use the best anchor word (for example- Tree for T actually starts with the /ch/ sound instead of the /t/ sound). Your kiddos will reference these cards all the time!

Is there glass still in the frames? Maybe hang them without glass and see if less weight helps?

Try using stuff called Teacher Tape. Then things will be up ALL year. It works amazing on cinder block walls.

Maybe take out the panes from the pictures so they’re lighter? I have mine just laminated and stuck on the wall, but the frames are really cute. It would be a pain to clean up glass in the middle of a school day though.

If the frames keep falling, maybe just laminate the characters and stick them to the wall instead.

Mauvelous tape is amazing! Definitely recommend! Command Velcro stripes would be good for your frames

How about Velcro command strips for the pictures?

I had frames that fell and broke one year. I finally gave up! Last year I had things fall all year and some things stayed up all year. It can be frustrating! I use a variety of things to put things up with, but the best has been hot glue, sticky tack, and certain brands/types of tape.

The LED lights might be on a timer if they come on randomly. I have mine set like that.

It always has to get worse before it gets better. 24 years and my room always looks like a tornado hit it after i have been there for an hour. 😊

It looks great! 18 year teacher here: kindergarten students come in not knowing anything about routine and supplies. I would definitely spend a lot of time going over supply cart and where to turn in work. ❤️BTW: do you have an assistant?

Looks like you have benchmark reading curriculum small group books on those blue shelves. I use that curriculum too!

What is your plan for the built in storage? Curious why you wouldn't use that for storing student supplies vs. the rolling cart?

The white cubes are "make your own" dice. You can put on the stickers and write whatever numbers or letters you want to. You are doing a great job.
