That's Fixed Odds, drops from the Duality dungeon and is craftable, so enhanced Incandescent is possible on it which is massive. Other good options are Avalanche from the recently concluded Dawning event and Unwavering Duty from Trials. Both have auto-loading capabilities and a more optimal frame, but no Enhanced Incandescent

Oh, and about the reinforcements part - this is just easier and safer than running around with laser cores, while solo at least

Good day to you as well. My leg and bond armor pieces here are instances of "Artifice armor": a special type of armor, the only source of which are Master-difficulty dungeons. The only difference between them and normal armor pieces is that the Artifice ones have an additional mod slot, into which you insert a 3-point stat bonus of your choice. In the past, starting in the midpoint of season 15, where artifice armor was introduced with the launch of the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, the additional artifice slot used to house an additional artifact mod, ending as the season 17 launched and artifact mods were unbound from the armor slots into universal availability, so the slot was repurposed to give 3 points of any chosen stat.

@@Hauk725 I see, thank you very much for the detailed answer, are said dungeons only available through the "dungeon keys"? I had/still have multiple dlcs but I noticed as I returned that I was lacking those, and that these dungeons seemed important

Yes, dungeon keys are needed to access dungeons from older DLCs. Not sure if they are available with Deluxe editions of older DLCs or are only avalilable to be bought separately

Slight correction, the Grasp of Avarice one is included into the 30th Bungie Anniversary, the only one with Artifice armor and not requiring a dungeon key. And the Pit of Heresy dungeon from Shadowkeep while does not drop artifice armor, the armor dropping from the final boss is consistently good

Thank you. If you by any chance have the old Retraced Path variant with Shoot to Loot, it'll be an upgrade to Acasia's, if not - the current variant will be somewhat of a downgrade. Either way they are close enough in performance and you'll get a similar gameplay impression either way

Sure, Apex is universally a king but other good rockets are not that far behind. I'd recommend these (ordered in priority): 1) Cold Comfort with Envious Assassin + Bait and Switch - you can get this in the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon, farming the second boss is probably the most reliable strat to get this 2) Hothead with Auto-Loading/Demo/Field Prep + Explosive Light - you can get this from Zavala for Vanguard engrams 3) Bump in the Night with Auto-Loading/Demo/Field Prep + Chill Clip - obtainable through the Presage mission (deepsights also drop)

It really does become easier with grind, once you're familiar with the activity it's less stressful for sure

Sleeper has only slightly more DPS than Cataclysmic, although its ammo economy is much worse so I'll be spending lots of time just searching for ammo

@@Hauk725 just saying by now im not trying to be rude, but i dont really think finding heavy ammo its a huge problem i mean ye double special got nerfed and i can say i never used it so i dont see a diff in loudouts and also not alot of ppl know how to do vow and wont get teached either so stuff like sleeper or taipan ar safer options to use and get!

This is a more of an encounter-specific issue. On Akelous, if you are activating DPS phases back to back, there's typically just not enough time to fully replenish heavy if you do not use Exotic primaries and the seasonal Elemental Munitions mod, even if you do - it's tight, so i just personally prefer weapons with deeper reservers for this specific encounter. The second issue you talk about - i do not explicitly aim to use easily available options over the most optimal ones. Do you think i should include substitute info into the Build sections?

It's probably the snappiest one to play, but if you want more survivability in this dungeon, Void and Solar are better. I have runs on all of them if you'd like

I always prefer perks with no kill condition, so the third column is down to Threat Detector and Perpetual Motion for me. Between them Threat Detector has at least some condition, yet the effect is stronger, while Perpetual Motion is active pretty much at all times. Probably Threat Detector is the stronger pick here as the condition 100% fits the use case for the SMGs, i use Perpetual Motion mainly for extra comfort

Thank you very much. Hope you got the clear, but for any future runs, this GM becomes easier the more you patternize it and stick to hard positioning. Hope you don't mind a little interpretation of the strategy. As in this run, excluding the first encounter, i mainly move between set points. In the ritual chamber you can ignore most enemies and the Hive Lightbearers by moving between two positions: the entrance, if you need the motes, and the nook near the exit, if you need to kill champions. Having one invis Hunter with Omnioculus to move your whole team between these points and another one with Graviton for the final boss is a safe play. The Savathun Illusion strategy consists of baiting out the lightning strike attack, and immediately after that, going invis and grabbing the spear. Positioning on the single illusion is flexible, just stay away as far as you can, and for the double illusions there is a fixed point on the right from where you can attack the left illusion while not aggroing the right one, then you can move to the left to kill the right one. Retreating to the column at the rear side of the arena before illusions spawn in (after each third of the boss' health) to clear out ads and champions is also a safe play. You may even leave two people standing there for callouts and ad clear assistance and send the Graviton Hunter to deal with the illusions alone. Hope this elaboration will provide some aid for your team.

I watch lots of other walkthroughs, my own attempts (prioritizing failed ones) and constantly ask questions like “why did this work” or “why didn’t this work”. Soloing grandmasters more often than not is a pretty unforgiving experience so you either pass the knowledge check (enemy spawns, cover availability, boss patterns) or learn it the hard way. In overall, an analytical approach to everything is the key

I mainly use Sleeper here because it’s easier to handle, therefore easier to have smoother footage with. Their DPS is similar at this boss’ damage window, and Sleeper’s ammo economy is inferior

I did this right at the season start so didn’t have access to anything at the moment, but there are impactful mods with strong benefits to this build. Unto the Breach, Protective Breach and Supernova are all great. They will provide you with a near-constant void overshield and better weaken application

I spent some time testing it and the conclusion is, unless i massively misinterpreted something, is that if you have Getaway Artist on, any Arc Soul will refund 5% grenade energy per hit regardless of the source of the Arc Soul. I see the ability to kickstart/fix your rotations by consuming a grenade as a secondary thing

@@Hauk725 so maybe you should just stick with geomag and not hotswapping to getaway artist since you don't use it anyway. That's all. I assumed you switched go GA for the stat, and you practically never used the sentinel arc soul. GGs

The only property of the “Sentient” Arc Soul is that it replenishes 5% grenade energy per hit. This exotic, seemingly, gives that property to the “Rift” Arc Soul also, making it effectively as good as the “Sentient” one. Damage of the “Rift” Arc Soul under Amplification also seems on par with the “Sentient” one. So, the utility of this exotic is still very much present. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I see no misleading usage here

I think Solar Titan is still easier here because Restoration as a survival tool is a more stable here than Devour and one-shotting bellkeepers with hammers speeds the whole thing up by a decent amount. Backpacks-wise, you can destroy them after getting the flags and defore exiting the nightmare, so you'll have to be wary only of 6 while on a damage phase. Anyway trying new strats is an insightful experience and i wish you the best of luck on your next attempts

This I’ve already solo flawlessed this on all 3 classes but never using this build. It actually surprised me with how good it is with an smg that has destabilizing rounds. The void nades are insane and I really like this build for this

He’s 14 levels under power for the final boss. That’s the issue. The boss is set at 1830.

The boss is 1810 (otherwise the enemies would have had swords next to their names), but you can increase your damage output by leveling up to 1830. The difference won't be that big, though, the overall boss HP pool is still insanely large

Solo raid strats are crafted with lots of thought put into it by many people, as they shrink the mechanical load meant for 6 people to carry into something bearable for only one They are highly specific, can be obscure and hardly understandable at first, but if you want to put time and thought into a very specific kind of training you'll be able to do these alright, there is a discord with strats/crafting and a difficulty tier list dedicated to it

Okay, then still, best of luck with lfg when you'll be able to give it one more shot Regarding the bungie account - it enables cross-save, where the expansions do not carry over and you'll need to buy them again on any platform you're about to play them, and the in-app LFG system which will become an in-game feature later this year

This run does not utilize glitches, just a combintaion of mechanical factors making this possible: 1) Old boss with low overall HP, not brought up to current standards 2) Said boss has a huge hitbox, allowing magma drops from the Solar Grenade to easily hit it 3) Said grenades can be placed right above the boss, allowing to streamline the magma drops 4) There are a lot of weak ads to achieve high Sunbracers' uptime. I do agree that doing Riven as intended is a great experience, this one is just a cool one-off, considering you also need Ascendant Blessings or otherwise you won't hit the DPS threshold
