Busy going backs at the Dartmouth Steam Railway
Thanks for sharing, and nicely put together and explained I hope you have found time for the new layout at new house
live steam is hot
A good thing to use for the track joints are Peco SM-45 fishplates, apparently very heavy duty and will create less of a kink in the track
It can be done because I’ve seen a layout at a live steam show and they’ve fitted a slow mo device which allows them to shunt. Mine don’t have that and it can be a little tricky
Love this project, really coming along now. Cannot wait to see what happens with the station. Is it easy to shunt with those locos?
I have 2 of these (1 new & 1 second hand). I love them, beautiful detail on them. Ideal for radius 1.
Looks great! 🙂
When's the extension into Mum's conservatory with new loco shed Benski? lol
Fab model,thanks.
Slowing on curves is perfectly normal. The wheels are travelling different distances but both sides are forced to rotate at the same speed. The inevitable binding that this causes slows the train. The fact that the loco can run freely on the straight track shows that it’s not a loco problem.
Utter Rubbish !
For the price it’s a winner .
If £67.49 is a winning price for an ordinary small loco then it shows just where the hobby has gone in Britain.
Good video my dude I might consider getting one someday
The rear sprung axle is one of he major questions I had about this model, the previous railroad 14xx has a fixed rear axle and it ran very poorly. I know everyone wants a newly tooled autotank but good on Hornby for making more of these 14xx models for a decent price!
Sad benski! 😢😢😢😢😢
Level 😎
Poor
The video is good, the picture quality is terrible!
Old camera and the light was terrible that evening.
Beautiful .thanks for post
Nice running session
I've heard very positive things about this loco, I appreciate your review.
My special needs son first heard about china clay also known as kaolin from Reverend Wilbert Awdry's Railway Series story called The Diseasel. Quote: "Their wagons are filled with china clay dug out of the nearby hills. China clay is important, it is needed for porcelain, paper 📃, paint 🎨, plastics, and many other things."
Nice video
Well done. If it ran over the insulfrogs it would be spot on. And I would love to see an earlier BR - Green or even black livery would be great.
Nice review.
Excellent video of her really grafting 👍👌 Thanks for sharing this 👍👍
Boy I wish I was alive in the time of steam engines. They just have such a majestic look to them compared to the dreariness of today’s box cab diesels and square subways. Oh how I would’ve loved to see some of the faster steam locomotives whizz by back in the day like New Jersey’s blue comet.
Fantastic. Would be nice to add/aquire some more as time goes by. Great video 📹 👍🏻
So this happened the day after my birthday this was a perfect late birthday present
This is how I imagine the Meon Valley railway would look if they reopened it...
Awesome, and just superb
A clay train would be going down from Bodmin loaded, the train back up to Bodmin as in the video would be emptys.
Very enjoyable, thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Good video :)

Strange things happen beyond the Tamar!
The driver's name was Moriaty!
This was a charter organised by 30742 charters which this was. The coach was how they transported us down the line which is why you see it in one shot. The coach was left down at parkway
Good editing and well put together! 👏
Nice 😎
Nice capture.
❤
Super video of the class 37!
"Those were the days, my friend, we thought they would never end" !!!
Excellent benski!!
The sound on the 37 is great really brings it to life. The smooth operating youve done generally makes it look like its actually propelled by an engine. Nice work! What size is the layout?
Hi. Thanks for kind comment. The railway is 4ft by 2Ft
that one stormed up goodrington bank. don't they stop there anymore?
Not snice they reopened after covid
Superb! Great Footage
brilliant......😄😄😄
