    What a rabbit hole this case is even still. Also heard that even the eldest daughter, Sheila Sharp, may have been a co conspirator because of the angle of her late mother's hand in the adoption process of her grandchild being adopted to other persons since Sheila was only 13 at that time prior to all this and had only been back home a short while because she was living with an aunt out of state upon giving birth and legally giving up the child idk 😳 🤔

    I believe that was a murder suicide case, the father was a coward and don't want to take the blame of killing his wife and daughter after he kills himself, so he planned the "vacation trip'' , and to make it more believable , he left the $32,000 in cash in a bank bag, and left their wallet and purses, to make people believe that they were really going for a vacation. this just rings a bell that this was not a robbery that went wrong, just plain murder suicide.

She said she had a moment where she was in the same gym as Joanne and thought this was her opportunity to speak to her, but mainly wanted to know why she stole the dog. Joanne just said “the dog looked hungry”… Made me think, if the dog was looking chonky would it have been killed too? 😅

    Take a look at the maternity unit stats - one of the highest rates of stillbirths in the UK- it is amazing what a good dose of Ecoli will do to the birth rate and those babies who survive being born when raw sewerage is spread in the building. All the babies she was accused of harming had either a diagnosis of or symptoms of infection which is one of the major causes of death in neonates. The stroke unit above these two units also had a very high level of hospital acquired infections. She was seen as a pleasant, sociable person by her actual friends and her colleagues. This nonsense about her supposedly telling people she was single etc - do you think it possible someone asked her once and the prosecution has blown this up. After all they told many lies. One of the lies is that when Letby moved from nights to days the collapses also moved - this a nonsense and is based on circular reasoning. They only recorded the incidents when she was present therefore she was present every time - this is how they came up with the chart which has been so widely published. The fact is she was present on the ward when less than half the deaths occurred but the facts about collapses are impossible to know because they were not recorded. Child A was not a healthy baby - if it was it would not have been on the ward. The blue mottling is a symptom of bacterial poisoning and there is no evidence any babies were injected withn air. None of the "medical experts" at the trial had any experience with air being injected - this was actually a Dr Dewi Evans invention bases on his having read a paper 30 years previously. This baby had symptoms of an infection as did baby B. Letby did approximately 20 searches related to patients and their families over 2 years from approximately 2500 searches - perhaps she was a caring person. Baby C - not a healthy baby again otherwise it would not have been where it was and Lucy responded to the alarm prior to the designated nurse is all. Baby D - again the the x-ray showed no evidence of air being injected - it couldn't have - it was not taken within the required time period and the coronor found death by natural causes as was the finding in the 6 cases that had autopsies. Lucy ,once again demonstrates she is a caring person, and once again this is being interpreted as sinister after the event. People may have heard of the statistician Richard Gill who proved that the statistical evidence used to convict a Dutch nurse of multiple murders was false has looked at the statistics in this case and has pointed out that these stats are within normal variation. He actually refer to the prosecutions main expert Dr Evans as that Welsh idiot and describes him as a charlatan. Evans has previously had his evidence described as worthless by a judge in a previous trial and the only experience he has had with neonates was early in his career and he has been retired for several years before offering himself to the police as an expert witness in this case. Another expert witness Dr Bohin was actually under investigation for child abuse at the time of the trial - I dont know if that has been resolved yet. A further prosecution expert has quietly ceased practice after accusations of malpractice were raised. There had been 12 deaths in a year two years previously and considering that there was raw sewerage above the false ceiling above the babies cots. These two have made no attempt to actually examine the evidence and I am guessing they are going to talk about insulin being used to poison babies but I cannot be bothered listening them repeating the MSM rubbish so I will get in first. There is no evidence of synthetic insulin being given inappropriately - the test the prosecution quotes as proving this cannot do so and this is recorded in red on the results slip. The glucose level quoted for one of the babies was so high it would have killed an adult let alone a neonate and neither of the two babies were in any way unwell. A further BG blood test two hours later showed the glucose level to be within the normal range - this is just not possible. The really absurd part of the prosecutions claim the insulin was used is that they claimed it was injected into the TPN bags which were supposed to be given over 24 hours. The first bag was put up when Lucy was present ( this is a two person procedure usually) but after she went off duty this line blocked and needed to be replaced as did the TPN bag. Another nurse selected a bag from the ward store and this was put up. The prosecution then claimed this bag also had had insulin injected into it so either the nurse happened to choose the one bag that had insulin in it or a number of them did and none of the bags were ever tested. But strangely enough when the other bags from the store were used none of the babies given them had any problems with blood sugar levels. In short there is no actual evidence that implicates anyone as deliberately seeking to harm any of the babies. By the way insulin was not kept in a locked cabinent in the nurses station - it has to be kept in a fridge and no one was found to have insulin on them at any point also taking into consideration that this was not thought of at the time.

      Wow! Thank you for your detailed comment / explanation. Don’t know about whether Lucy is I guilty or not, but have always thought it is very possible that she has been scapegoated and potentially innocent. Weird, bizarre but this type of conspiracy theory is becoming more plausible as the real facts unfold. I am reaching the point of accepting her innocence due to the very flawed trial and overwhelming bias of the evidence produced. All people who either had a vested interest in her guilt or were being paid for their role in this case, must be held accountable in the face of possible misconduct , and be prosecuted if they have deliberately procured a miscarriage of justice.

    • @beckyhopkins4306
      @beckyhopkins4306 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brilliant comment, I just want to point out though that Actrapid (fast-acting insulin which the COCH NNU used) is stored at room temperature once it's opened and since it's a controlled drug would not be kept on the unit unless it's prescribed to a patient, in which case it would be ordered in from the pharmacy. The locked controlled drugs cabinet was in Nursery 1 as was a small countertop fridge containing intubation kits/ controlled drugs used during resuscitation. NHS guidelines state that keys to controlled drug cabinets can't be kept with other keys, however this was never mentioned during the trial and so a false impression was created by the prosecution that the keys to where the insulin was kept were on the same keyring as the one(s) to the Labcold fridge in the "treatment room" (the storage room adjacent to the nurse's station) where the stock and prescribed fluids were kept when that is likely not the case. Any insulin in the fridge would have been 50ml Leur Lock syringes of prescribed Actrapid insulin diluted in saline meant for Baby E-- who had died ~24hrs before F's alleged Actrapid poisoning and, like his twin brother F, was unnamed at the time, and referred to on the system as Twin 1. F was called Twin 2.

      @@reptiledisfunction2564Her defence dropped the ball having no expert witnesses, worst of all they conceded the insulin evidence and that evidence is actually laughably unsound, if you want to understand why and why the trial should never have happened all you have to do is visit the Science on Trial we site and read of the many serious problems with Lucy's trial, I now have no doubt this is a huge miscarriage of justice.

      There were several people in the room during Baby A's collapse and yet the prosecution blatantly lied 2x that she was 'the only adult in the room' at the time. She said A's incubator was closed and she couldn't reach his lines, and again there were several witnesses in the room at the time and yet no-one was even asked to counter what she said. If the jury assumed innocent until proven guilty like they were supposed to they would not have accepted her as guilty without anyone making an effort to prove whether the most basic step necessary to carry out what she's accused of was done or not.

    So there are a few things I want to say on this. There saying that Lucy letby could of been killing or harming babies since she was a student. I believe she started her course in 2008. As a student nurse you are not allowed to do any major intervention without being supervised by a qualified. Unless she was super quick that kind of thing that should be discarded, the second is she qualified in 2012 but apparently didn’t do any murders for 3 years. Wow she must of had lots of restraint to curb those murderous urges. Why is it not mentioned about the child that needed an umbilical catheter and 2 junior doctors and a consultant on the unit that could not do it. They had to get an anaesthetist from alderhey hospital to come and do it. He could not understand why they had such problems in carrying out of the procedure. This woman has just said we should trust the justice system in the uk. Tell that to the Birmingham 6 or the Guildford 4 or Andrew malkinson. Trust the justice system. Fuck that and this silly bitch saying it.. again I’ll just reiterate what has already been said. Check out the Scott mclahan substack then make your own decisions instead of just listening to mouth pieces like these fools. Incompetent and negligence is the reason these poor kids. That and those scumbag consultants who were more worried about there media careers. Horrible bastards

    If she hd been previously falsely accused, cld this have been why documenting & possibly over documenting became part of her defense she didn't do it ...

    How much of reporting is reliant on hearsay?

    You guys are asking 'if Lucy didn't kill the babies then who did?' Well you only have to see the news to see an increase in maternity deaths in various hospitals / maternity wards all over the country (see reports of Morcambe Bay, Shrewsbury, Nottingham etc etc). Due to lack of staff, ineffective management, not enough funding etc. Chester's deaths weren't due to the usual reasons but they happened to have a serial killer working there, how convenient

      @@reptiledisfunction2564 Are you genuinely interested or just calling my bluff? I know it's only a yt comment but I'm still a little scared of breaking some kind of libel law lol, especially seeing as they've already put an innocent person in prison on their say-so. In any case I prefer for people to look at the evidence given in court and evaluate it on its own merit so if you have enough time on your hands I can point to what made it click for me and you can have a look + decide for yourself
