Flight of the Pelican
Filmed in Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary during an early morning boating. Buzzing with activities, the sanctuary became very vibrant and came to life as the sun slowly came up! This Pelican was trying to pull a stick floating to build its nest. The first attempt wasn't successful. The bird turned around, came back, picked it up the second time successfully and make it to its nesting place. It was a brilliant sight to behold!

It was absolutely a joy to watch the young one being this playful under the watchful mother. This was shot handheld in 2015 with a Nikon D500 500mm f4 lens with no IBIS or stabilization. And no. No 4K recording option at the time of recording!
Cooling Off - Karadi Male

It was close to dusk and we were almost done with our safari and were planning to return to base. We had visited this water hole earlier in the day as we had sighted the famous "Karadi Male" in the morning. We just took our chances on our return. We weren't disappointed! It was wonderful to see this magnificent male tiger cooling off in the water body! Shot with Nikon Gears!

After going completely dry with zero sightings in the morning and evening, just 20 minutes before the end of our safari closure, our naturalist had a hunch and he insisted we go back in to the zone and take a chance. Karadi Male - The new king of Bandipur

Got a glimpse of this huge, bold, aggressive, dominant male tiger that is currently ruling Bandipur Tiger Reserve. Apparently, he gets the name "Karadi Male" as he killed a fully grown adult Bear ("Karadi" in the local language Kannada) in a fierce combat recently. It was sight to behold when his majesty took a stroll and started patrolling his territory.

Observing these birds brings back memories of various experiences... It feels like watching the Delta CRJ900 flying down for a smooth landing at Chicago O'Hare Airport...taking a pause before taking off again... Cool 😎 Watching these colorful birds reminds me of seeing a Blue Lamborghini Asterion, an Amber Lamborghini Revuel, and a Green Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder flying through the sky. You've brought all these experiences under one roof... Dandeli forest. Truly awesome👌 👏

@@KarthikSwaminathan-hm5nj Usually sighted in Kabini and Masinagudi range, not in Dandeli Karthik. Dandeli is known for Hornbills and colourful birds. Occasional tiger sightings as well. Will definitely try my best.
