I’m sure that is a great smoke! The bulging of an aged tin is a great sign. I have a good stock of 2020 Sansepolcro tins, that are bulging the most I’ve ever had. Briar fox is a blend I do enjoy from time to time, but now I need some aged Fox!!

I think its the "Golden Blend" here in Germany. From the early 50s. One of my favourites. Enjoy and greetings.

You had mentioned the Merrs don’t favor Vaper style blends . Do you still think that’s the case? I have enjoyed your tobacco review videos and I see you using only Your very nice Meerschaum pipes. Second question , In the past ; I to use various dimensional briar bowls for various tobacco blends ( straight Virginias in more of a chimney bowl and English’s I more of a pot style bowl) and yes dedicated briars for each type of tobacco ! With amazing flavor. Have you heard of this ? And do you think this matters with the meerschaum pipes . As I’m thinking about trying meerschaums 😊

Great videos !! Love your interest in meerschaums. When looking to purchase a “Meer” Is there any recommended wall thickness as in briar pipes? Should one be concerned with Airhole dimensions, etc. or not worry about it because the “Meer” Should absorb most of the moisture? Thanks for a wonderful videos.

I sent my meer back to altinay for a restem, they rewaxed it.. Came back with a beautiful patina that the rewax had done. So i guess if youre gonna do it, do it professionally
