First Ride Back On The Bike Since The Crash And Got Lost! Husqvarna FE 450
Took a ride out to the airport just to feel the body and bike out!
Everything felt good, still a swollen, and probably broken, right pinky knuckle.
So grabbing the handlebars are a bit tricky.
Was not planning on riding trails, but got went in on one that took me a while.
Also ended up on some forrest machinery roads.

Spontaneous Afternoon Ride Ends In a Big Crash!!! Husqvarna FE 450

Got lucky in the crash, no broken bones och any tendon damage. Pretty sore but hope to be back in a couple weeks! Also I am moving into a new space with the bike, so hopefully I can make some build videos this fall. Enjoy and like & subscribe!

So, back at the airport, but with a friend this time! @jonasfridolfsson7582 After we had a big lunch we ended up at the spot for my crash with the old 990. Very over grown as you can see in the footage, but I think we nailed it down when it comes to the actual spot!

No bikes or riders were hurt making this video, just a hurt ego ha ha! Went back to the gravel pit but ended up putting the angle of the GoPro to low. But I thought I would upload it anyway, since it will be a week or so, before I can get out riding again due to woork.

Went on a spontaneous Sunday ride with my friend Henrik on his Husky 701! We were also joined by a new friend, Per, who was out on his BMW 800GS. I managed to fumble with the GoPro and missed filming the best pats of the ride, but it was meant to be a fun chill ride, so I guess next time will be faster and EVERYTHING will be filmed!

The mirrors are from Temu I think, there are more expensive ones (and maybe more durable ones in regular shops) that look the same. And the mount for the hand guards are from Rottweiler, but I have seen cheaper ones that do the same thing. Hope you find what you are looking for, and thanks for watching! Cheers!

Thanks!!! 🙏🏻 I was using SP mount on that bike, took a lot of slams and not once did it come loose. Can really recommend that system. They also have a bunch on different monting alternatives, wireless charging etc. 👍🏼

Yeah, I bought mine as a combo of commuting and ripping gravel roads on the weekends! You dont notoce the weight on the road, only at lower speeds off road. Rips on both gravel and tarmac! Tires are the key, depending on what you will ride, and the gasmilage suck, but is worth it, ha ha! Cheers!

Ha ha, thanks! ;) That day, maybe 30-40 km maybe, but it was just a fun day out, hehe! When I'm alone ridin, I usually go longer, both in km and time, maybe 4-5h out and maybe 40-100km (depending on the terrain), and not as may breaks and chit chats...
Ser riktigt roligt ut. Man kanske skulle investera i en mindre hoj även, för mer äventyr.
Ja, jag hade gärna haft kvar 990'n om jag haft plats/råd, för lite längre turer. Men ångrar mig inte en sekund att jag gick ner till en endurohoj, så jävla kul! 😅👌🏼

Thanks man!!! 🙏🏻 They are just bling covers on the stock brake and clutch resavoir, was on it when I bought the bike. Same with the levers. I think they are Husqvarna, but could be third party as well.

Yeah, if I had the space, physical and financial, I would of keept it for sure! But for now I'm happy with the toy,and yes, I will enjoy it!!! 😂🥳

. Well, the camere was basically pointing at the ground and the sound was terrible. Big fan of the 990 though.
Nice place for ridding. Allow me a riding tip: At 5:00, I noticed you ride with no finger(s) on the front brake. Same goes with your other side on the clutch on other occasions. That's a recipe for disaster.I always ride with fingers on both levers. You can't whiskey throttle if you keep fingers on the brake lever. Whiskey throttle is a function of full-fisting the throttle (like you do) and when things go bad your instinct will push you to grab those handlebars tighter and that's something that can go unpredictably wrong. By keeping a finger on the brake lever, apart from being able to squeeze (instead of grab) immediately the brake, if need to, the finger acts as an anchor point which prevents whiskey throttling. Your wrist won't be able to go that far. No advanced rider ever leaves both levers without a finger(s) on it.
At around 3:40 you said that this is the old 2009 version which is wrong. The 2009+ bikes were the new updated ones with SD cams a few other changes (different oil jets within the engine, different glovebox, different color swingarm (black), etc) and a different speedo and tachometer. Yours is the 2006-2008 variant. P.S. The sidestand relocation kit is a must and you don't need to hit a rock to get your cases cracked. My previous 2009 KTM 990 suffered that from a medium speed low siding on asphalt (from soap water on a turn by some idiot). The sidestand's spring is not that strong to hold it in place on a low side and as a result it springs down and hits the ground resulting in leveraged forces on the mounting points. I am now on my second 2009 990 and I don't think I'll ever sell this bike again. Did that mistake once and regretted it. They don't make bikes like these anymore.
We need to set you up with a crowdfunding campaign to get you a decent helmet microphone. I'll ask Krikkos Adventure (www.youtube.com/@krikkosadventure) for advice, she seems to have a great mic.

Hello mate, may i ask what phone or tablet are you using for navigation and what kind of mount? Is it Osmand the app?
I run a Samsung s23 Plus and the dmd2 app. Works good, even tough I would like a dedicated device for riding.
